One of our favorite hipcamps ever!! Teresa was so kind, and the gazebo was so well outfitted for a cozy night. She even premade the wood stove fire for us, and provided extra candles. Having a sink and couches and blankets -- all such a treat! The property is spacious and beautiful, you have the site to yourself with no other campers nearby. Thanks, Teresa!

We loved the gazebo. So convenient. We could set up our kitchen and leave it . Cold running water. Great to have a wood stove.

Lovely setting on Teresa's land. Tent camped near the gazebo. Very clean, soft grass, water available and clean porta potty. Teresa was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience all around and fully enjoyed our stay. Friendly hosts, perfect location close to Lake Crescent and beach, star gazing, bonfires, cozy gazebo, magical mornings listening to owls and sites are well divided ensuring privacy. Loved our stay and hope to book again!

We enjoyed our visit at Theresa’s homestead. We parked our camper van and walked the back roads to the Olympic discovery trail system. It’s a fantastic setup to bring your bikes and bike to Cresent Lake on the non vehicle access roads. They have secluded sites with a lot of privacy. We will be back with our bikes!

We had a lovely 4 nights here. Teresa was so kind and offered us useful information about the bike trail to the lake. We also biked to the sea and saw eagles, otters, porpoises and other birds. The Gazebo had running water and was the perfect place to cook and eat. The property was beautiful. We set up our tent by the pond and enjoyed each night. Thank you Teresa and Don!

Teresa's property at Mile Post 47 is beautiful! I stayed at site 5- The Grove. It was super private, off by itself on the other side of the creek that runs through the property, and had it's own private fire ring, private bucket-style toilet inside a pop up tent, and private garbage can, all of which were impeccably clean. Teresa was easy to communicate with and came out to greet me and lead me to my site. I would highly recommend!

Such a good spot! And you couldn't ask for a better host. Tons of space - we weren't anywhere near other campers. They had a fire pit all loaded up with wood and newspaper ready to go when we arrived. Also the location was perfect if you are doing day trips. We spent some time in Port Angeles, but also took a day trip over to Forks, WA. Gorgeous drive. Thanks for having us!!

Wow! Talk about exceeding expectations. I wasn't sure what to expect, being my first time using this site, but the quick response to my questions and requests eased any anxiety I had and everyone had a great time! In a world run by giant corporations that nickle and dime you for everything, they provided extras at no charge that just made the experience that much greater.

The gazebo was just want we needed to stay out of the elements on our October trip. The fire place inside kept us warm all night and the property itself was beautiful. The camp host were very friendly and had a fire going for us when we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Teresa's land is awesome! It's a great Basecamp for a lake Crescent or Olympic visit. Plenty of amenities for campers. This was our second time visiting this site and we'll be back again in the future

Thanks Teresa for the great campsite. This was well located for us for visiting the north side of Olympic NP and to head out to the coast. We appreciated the quietness of your place, the green grass, the ability to have a fire and the privacy. We highly recommend mile post 47!

Teresa is an absolutely amazing host! She had everything prepared and ready to go for our stay in her lovely gazebo. She was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy & comfortable. You’d be hard pressed to find a more gracious host and cozy accommodations, so much so that when our plans/route changed we ended up booking again with Teresa 2 nights later!

We loved car camping at Teresa’s spot right off highway 112. It was the perfect landing point for our weekend adventures. They greeted us when we arrived later than expected with a camp fire going at our spot and really made us feel at home. It was a wonderful experience and our first with Hipcamp. Will recommend to others!

Theresa and Don put a lot of love into their property and it shows. You feel it right away! The location is perfect for many destinations around the Peninsula. I camped in the gazebo area and it was lovely. It was a perfect spot to chill. The gazebo is a perfect spot to escape the weather, light a fire in the wood stove, do some reading, play some games with friends or light all the candles in the evening for a meditation space. There are many wonderful spaces, some open and some tucked in the woods for total privacy. They are continuing to create more special spaces, I can't wait to visit this property again and again!

We loved this site! They were large sites and quite private, we barely saw the other campers there. No bugs at all, and super quiet. Would definitely stay again!

We weren't sure what to expect from the hip camp app because everyone puts their best photos and descriptions on it. I can honestly say that we had the best experience with Theresa and Don, its quiet, peaceful and the wildlife came visiting the campsite. Don gave us great ideas for places to visit and it's a perfect camp base to have. We plan on going back in the fall. If you've forgotten something, the Joyce general store probably has it. The Cafe has delicious pie too.
