Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
An open, picturesque 3-acre lot with riverfront beach access overlooking the iconic painted wharfs of the French River area. This lot is unserviced—there is no water, electricity, or sewage—so it is best suited for self-contained camping. With only 3 of the 14 lots sold in this development, and just one seasonal structure, this is a quiet and peaceful area. Watch fishing boats glide by, eagles soar overhead, and beautiful sunsets settle over the hills. Take a walk down to the riverside beach to swim, fish (we've caught many bass here!), or explore. This property is a dream for paddle boarders, kayakers, and other watercraft enthusiasts. It's just a two-minute drive to gorgeous Yankee Beach (part of the National Park), breathtaking Cape Tryon, and the iconic French River Wharf. An incredible home base for exploring the North Shore and Cavendish, we hope you love it as much as we do!

    Beautiful location in a field overlooking French River. Quiet and peaceful. The host was easy to communicate with and the spot easy to locate - just as described.

    We had such a great low key family weekend! Lauren was great to rent from, accommodating and made great recommendations. We loved having so many options for beaches and being close enough to Cavendish without the crowd and hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay again.
