100 acres of maple forest. Enjoy seclusion and privacy with lots of land to explore. Consider this more of a backcountry camping experience. The land is not very developed. There are some paths and cleared sites but it is still just wild forest. This is best for experience backcountry campers or people looking for adventure or historic / anachronistic camping. There is an old fashion outhouse. No water or electricity or wifi provided. We are always improving and looking to host larger groups in the future. The land is relatively flat with mature trees and little undergrowth. Ground cover is mostly leaves and sandy soil. There are a couple small swampy areas that are beautiful in their own way with mossy rocks and woodland pools. There are mosquitoes, be prepared. Close to beaches and boat launches on Lake Dalrymple and Lake Simcoe and several othersRead carefully This is an experience based stay. There are logging trails and back country hiking on the property as well as ATV/snowmobile trails nearby. The forest is good for bird watching, foraging, hiking, bonfires, lots of possibilities.

We have a gravel driveway with an area for one RV as well as backwoods camping. Lots of parking along our driveway with a short hike to many great camping spots. Camping amongst the maple trees.

Tree to Table Experience

Trevis was a great host. The site, even though it wasn’t far from his house or the highway, we still felt secluded in the woods. Lots of shade and the mosquitoes weren’t too bad, we came prepared for them. 10 min drive to a beach. The 4 grandkids ( ages 4-9) really enjoyed camping there with us. The ground is not level and there is a lot of small roots sticking out of the ground, but we managed to get fairly level spots for our tents. The outhouse was up by his house ( it could have been a little closer, especially for the kids lol) Heard coyotes very close to our site on the last night we were there but they didn’t come into our site. We enjoyed our stay. We will be back. 😊
