Trip 'n Daisy and their little shih tzu McGee live in rural New Brunswick, nestled on 50 acres of mostly forested land. We treasure where we live, the long winding country roads, the pristine lakes and rivers nearby. We live in nature and respect it. Wildlife is abundant and being on a game trail we regularly see wild turkeys, porcupines, raccoons, skunk, fox, coyote, deer, moose, bear and whatever else mosey's on by! Bring a camera, you never know who might come to visit! Along the Chiputneticook lakes and river crossings, there are multiple lakes near by and a creeks and rivers that used to be used as the main method of transportation of food and goods along the way - from the Saint John River to the St. Croix River, there is much history and many untouched areas that remain mostly in their natural state. We are located 2 minutes (drive) near East Grand Lake, we are on Forest City Road, Fosterville, which is located between 2 border crossings - Fosterville, NB/Orient, ME and Forest City, NB/Forest City, ME. So whether you are heading to or from the USA, or exploring New Brunswick you can find us here! We are about 1 hour from Woodstock, NB, 1.5 hours from Fredericton, NB, 45 minutes from Houlton, ME or 25 to Danforth, ME. We are about 2.5 hours to Edmunston, NB and the Quebec border crossing, 3 hours to Moncton or Saint John, NB. You can access many trails to hike, bike, ATV, walk. There are many lakes/rivers to swim, boat, kayak or canoe. Book a space - you can rent our Aliner Hippie Peace and Love Shack OR our vintage 1973 Golden Falcon which has been tripped out '60's style! You can bring an RV or trailer - max 30 feet - we find that A Class motor homes are often too big or heavy so don't recommend them. We have 3 spaces for RV's & trailers that belong to YOU! On our property you will be surrounded by ash and pine trees. A large weeping willow. There is an outhouse available, garbage and recycling, if in an RV or trailer we have 3 spots that provide 30amp power and water is available by hose to fill up if needed. Tents - we have many spaces but your location will be your choice, find a nice spot, that is flat. The outhouse is available. There are no showers on site at this time, however, the lake is lovely! This is a rustic, restful place for quiet, respite, sharing community and being a trippie hippie! We are starting out offering 6 tenting sites - you choose your site upon arrival. We have an arts/craft gallery on site as well as a darts room for a rainy night! Wifi and cell service are not available here, if you are on US roaming you can get service and some cell providers provide spotty service. There is a public wifi location 5 minutes away if you need to connect. We have a landline for emergencies. Trip 'n Daisy have traveled throughout Atlantic Canada including Newfoundland in their vintage Hippie Hangout 1973 Golden Falcon - it is now available to rent - you can sleep 2 to 3 people comfortably in the space. It is decked out with a cool '60's vibe - hand painted inside and out with Trip's artful flair and includes a toilet, sinks, fridge, cooktop, water, table/dinette that flips into the second bed. Dishes/pots/basic cooking needs, etc. Bedding can be included for an extra fee - but you can bring your own! They also towed their Aliner pop up trailer - the Hippie Peace & Love Shack. It includes an RV size double bed, suitable for a couple as well as a dinette that folds into a second single bed. There is a fridge, cooktop and table/dinette that flips into a second single bed. There is no toilet but we have added a cassette toilet for you, for night use, and there is water in the space. Again, we recommend you bring your own bedding but we can supply for an additional fee. We do have access to Electric Vehicle charging - either a wall outlet Level 1 or a Level 2 charger - which is free for 2 hours or for a fee for longer charges. We have lawn furniture on the grounds to share and to use around the communal fire pit. Fire pit in one location only and based on current fire rules/bans. There are NO stores or gas stations nearby, so please ensure you fill up with supplies/fuel before venturing down the country road! Full details on site location and instructions for driving will be supplied upon booking. Due to wildlife in the area we REQUIRE that ALL food is put away at night and during the day when not eating. If you are tenting please bring a secure cooler and place in locked vehicles at night. We have a dog and he is ALWAYS on leash - if you bring a dog - you MUST ALWAYS pick up after it (our dog does not use our yard as a toilet, so we prefer yours doesn't either); dogs must be on leash and/or in a secure fenced area. This is not only for our dogs safety, but for yours, remember wildlife! We have been here for 13 years, as British Columbian transplants, we love this property and home and hope that you have a great experience as well! When camping we will always have one person available if you need us! Many people like to call this a home base as they travel across the USA border for day trips or to shop! Feel free to do so! Because Trip 'n Daisy are trippy hippies and enjoy nature, we recommend adults are most suitable for this site. Who doesn't like camping? We don't all have, or need a big rig or trailer! Sometimes, it's fun just to camp in a tent! We invite you to join us for some dispersed camping! At this HipCamp we have a couple of trippie hippies who have 2 trailers for rental and we also have up to 6 dispersed camping sites for tents (they will be on the lower level) There are also UP to 3 rv/trailer sites available on the upper level near the house and road area. Tents - we have lots of space, some is more level than others! We believe there are easily at minimum 8 spaces for tents, but we thought - let's start with a maximum of 6 and see how that goes! We recommend when tenting, that you have pegs, guide wires/rope, feel free to reach out to the trees, please tie not nail or screw to them! Tarps are always good and you are welcome to have an outdoor popup as well! Upon arrival we ask you to park in the driveway or on the street, come to the door and we can assist you with locating your space and/or lend the wheelbarrow to help move your items. It is not a "hike" or hard hill but there is a bit of a hill to go up and down to your sites. Feel free to spread out, leaving generous spaces between yourself and the next campers, so you can all enjoy the sites. We will provide an area to cook/clean dishes so if you don't have a BBQ that is ok! We have an outdoor toilet but no showers. There is wildlife around so we recommend a good cooler and food must be locked up at night or if not around in the day - just a good thing in bear country! Please reach out with questions or concerns and we will do our best to make your stay great! How cool is it that you can simply bring a tent, cooler and bedding and if you don't want to, you need nothing else? Camping - affordable and easy with quick access to nature! There is even an opportunity to rent kayaks from the local community centre, which also offers pickle ball, tennis courts and horseshoes and intermittent community breakfasts or suppers. You will be staying in our fun and fabulous Hippie Hangout! This vintage 1973 Golden Falcon came into our lives 6 years ago. Trip immediately washed it, painted it and put Trip 'n Daisy "Born to be wild" crossed out to be MILD! Well that got so much attention across Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, that when we came home to New Brunswick, he proceeded to go CRAZY painting it up! He spent the next few years, continuously adding to it! Since we have gone to an Electric Vehicle, we have permanently parked the Hippie Hangout in our beautiful piece of paradise - people pay this to take their trailer to "parking lot camping" we figured, it is all here, why leave? You will enjoy our hipped and tripped up trailer - painted inside and out by Trip and it will give you a flashback to the fabulous '60's as Daisy has vamped it up inside! The main bed is suitable for 2 adults, the rental is for two but you can add a 3rd person for an additional fee. The dinette will fold into a single bed if you have a 3rd person and if that's the case, we will have it ready upon arrival! Your site will include an awning and small decking area with lawn chairs. Bring your bedding, save a few dollars! Or for an additional fee you can rent our bedding. Let me tell you, every time we stopped on the road with this rig, we made conversation and saw a lot of smiling faces! You can stay in it too! The trailer has a contained toilet and sinks, stove top, water, and basics for camping - pots, pans, dishes, spices, sugar, coffee pot, etc. So just jump in the car, come out and see the savings from not pulling and having a set up camp site ready so you can enjoy EVERY minute of your stay! You will be surrounded by vegetation, trees and peace and quiet. You will be staying in our Hippie Peace and Love Shack - it is an Aliner pop up trailer and can host 2 people maximum. Your site will include an outside covered area with a pop up tent and lawn chairs. The double/queen rv bed is suitable for 2 people and the dinette can be folded to a single bed for one person. You will have a cassette toilet for night time use and there is an outhouse for day use. Land is beautifully cared for and their creativity shines through! ‘Trip ‘n Daisy’ are exceptional people. Lots of tall and short tales were shared around the campfire :-) I’m returning on my way back home. Perfect place to just chill.

Trip and Daisy's place was amazing! So peaceful and serene. The atmosphere was so welcoming. Trip and Daisy were wonderful hosts. Trip's art sanctuary is just breathtaking - he's an amazing artist. I loved hearing about their history behind it all. I would recommend this place to people who love nature, peace and serenity. It's a place that takes your breath away! Daisy brings joy and happiness to this place. The property is just, in a nut shell gorgeous! There is a place to swim 3 minutes away on the lake! They had a yards sale while we were there and we got some amazing finds! We met another camper there staying in one of the trailers provided by the hosts - He was a very nice man with his dog. We enjoyed having conversations with him and his journey from Ottawa! Please come and enjoy this place like we did. We will be back for sure in the near future! Absolutely, spectacular place to unwind enjoy a drink, sit back and watch the nature that embraces all around you!

On your next trip to New Brunswick, definitely make a point of staying at Trip n Daisy's. The hosts were very kind & welcoming. The trailer was well appointed, and the environs were very peaceful. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Trip ‘n Daisy’s🌼 We had a great place to park our 26 ft trailer that was pretty level. Water and 15 amp power were provided. The hosts are wonderful people who welcome you with open arms to their property. We will for sure return to this beautiful property for another stay☮️

This is a beautiful area of New Brunswick and Sarah and Len’s property is 50 acres of wonderland - you wonder what you will discover next/ a huge apple tree, a massive boulder, an artist’s work shop - to name a few things - it is everything and more that is explained on their description. Sarah snd Len make you feel so welcome you just hate to have to leave. Definitely a place of peace and nature.
