Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Escape the crowds and spread out on 75 private acres overlooking the Sturgeon Valley. Wide open space, incredible views, and a quiet setting that’s hard to find this close to the city. Camping is set up in designated areas across the property so each group has space and privacy. Whether you’re in a tent or trailer, there’s plenty of room to settle in without feeling crowded. Access is currently through a dirt field, which adds to the off-grid, rural feel. It’s generally accessible for trucks, SUVs, and trailers in normal conditions, but can be soft after heavy rain, so plan accordingly. Expect open skies, peaceful surroundings, and some of the best sunrise and sunset views in the area. You’re only 10 minutes from St. Albert and Edmonton, so it’s easy to grab supplies and get right back to relaxing. This is a simple off-grid experience for now, with no power or water yet, so come prepared. Full services are planned in the near future. If you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind with space around you, this is it.Sunrise site is set overlooking the Sturgeon Valley on the east side and offers some of the best views on the property. It’s a wide, open area with plenty of room to set up a tent or trailer while still having space to yourself. The site is positioned for privacy, so you’re not right on top of other campers. It’s a great spot to relax, take in the valley, and enjoy open skies with clear sunrise and sunset views. Access is through a dirt/planted field, so trucks, SUVs, and trailers are recommended, especially if conditions are wet. This is an off-grid site with no power or water yet, so come prepared. The focus here is space, quiet, and a beautiful place to unwind.
