Tiny Village Ottawa River is a unique nature village resort located on our 59.1 acres of property. It contains 2000 feet of gorgeous sandy shores along the Ottawa River and Crown land on the opposing shore.

Welcome to Spirit Wild  A place, in nature, where you can let your spirit be free, to feel the healing power of nature. A private lake with no public access, and quite/peaceful. Lake is limited to 10hp outboards, and seldom seen - so no large boats or noise. Access to boat ramp.  Located just outside Calabogie Village. Paved road to property. Many local attractions and things to do.. River Rafting, Hiking Trails, Cave Exploration, Galleries, Dining, etc. - Ck it out. 

Over 2 acres of mixed bush, fruit trees, organic garden, large open grassy play area, Virgin Lake (Dempsey) beautiful, clear clean water - sandy bottom - great waterfront for the smaller children.  Charging Station @ House.

Camping from bicycle - to Overland campers.

Site 1 - Waterfront  Turn right at end of driveway, left across lawn, to Herbert St. best suited for small units, tent trailers, smaller RV's, etc. No access for large trailers. No turn around for large trailers.

Site 2 - Waterview   Turn right at end of driveway, straight ahead, large site, easy access. larger trailers. Site for Tents - anywhere.

Covered Bridge Park

Covered Bridge Park is a magnificent 150 acres waterfront campground on Bonnechere River with cottages, cabins, tent and trailer sites. We are located east of Algonquin Provincial Park and located in Tramore on the north side of Bonnechere River between Round Lake and Golden Lake. Enjoy beautiful Ontario summers with great fishing, swimming, canoeing and wildlife viewing.

Discover Natures Playground on this old farm that has been preserved in its natural state with 100 acres of mature forest, meadows and trails; only a small portion of the property has been developed into a Campground. Most of what we offer here is pure Mother Nature.

Organic Farm Camping & Bunkie

Relax in pristine nature in the rolling Gatineau hills at an off-grid sustainable organic farm and forest! Ladysmith (Thorne) QC is originally a German/Polish settlement area with ties to the early forestry industry, observe the timeless beauty the early settlers fell in love with here. 

Pets welcome! Animals must be kept on leash at all times, as there are farm animals present.

We offer hiking trails, excellent bird and wildlife watching, bikers paradise on dirt roads, and other off-road activities. The site is completely off-grid with a resident home powered by solar and wind energy (generator too!).
Organic gardens and farm animals offer a real down-to-earth experience. Meet a 300+ yr old Oak tree along the hiking trail
or take some chill time in "Meditation Grove" amongst the pines. Choose from two different stay options:

Six Waterfalls

Large private campsite available for rent on Kamaniskeg Lake Road. 

This campsite is tent camping only, some acceptations may apply (please message host)

Large private family campsite located on Kamaniskeg Lake Rd private access to 10 acres with six stunning waterfalls and a pond. Wild Raspberry and blackberry and lots of wildlife to see. 

Driving: 5 minutes to hinterland beach, 5 mins to Combermere, 10 mins to Madawaska Kanu Centre, 15 mins to Barrys Bay, 35 mins to Bancroft, 3 hours to Toronto.

Exclusive access to 6 privately owned stunning waterfalls. Surrounded by crown land. Kamaniskeg lake is a large lake known for its crystal clear waters, excellent fishing, loons, hiking/atv/snowmobile trails, and over 90 kilometres of boating. 

Absolutely no dumping/ littering on the property. 

To get to the waterfalls is considered to be a moderate to advanced level hiking ability required. 

There are no neighbours.

There is no electricity or bathroom facility.

Dont forget to visit the beautiful Hinterland Public Beach when you visit and please check current fire ban status for hasting highlands.

When you arrive there is no address number, please follow the approximate address on google. You will see a tree with several pink ties around it, thats the main entrance. 

Please be advised we have trail cameras set up around the property for security purposes only. 

You may consider using the rear camping site to be further away from the road, you will find a second fire pit there!

Erskine Park Campsite

Private campsite. Riverfront property with access to round lake - bring or rent a canoe. 10 minute drive to the gate of Algonquin park. Algonquin Park passes can be purchased next door at Bonnechere provincial park. Campfire with bbq grill - wood is available on site. Three trails on the property to explore. Site is located directly beside a very active deer trail, plenty of wildlife and top notch birdwatching. This property really is something special, come make memories you wont forget!

VHP Ranch - Rural Retreats

Valley Hitching Post Ranch is located on a 108 acre homestead in the beautiful Ottawa Valley, a short walk from the beach and in the midst of the Laurentian Mountains. 

This property of truly breath-taking beauty is bordered largely by Algonquin Park to the South while overlooking the Ottawa River to the North. Serenely remote yet minutes from TransCanada Highway 417, five minutes to the town of Deep River, and just 2 hours from the city of Ottawa to the East and the city of North Bay to the West.

We run a community-oriented stable where we board 8 to 10 horses belonging to people who live in the community. We also operate as a farmstead, growing a variety of produce on our land. The rear of the property contains a lush forest and meandering trails that lead to a small private lake. Enjoy stargazing with minimal light pollution & open views of the night sky. 

Our property is the perfect opportunity for those wanting to escape the hustle bustle and connect with nature. Pitch your tent in the spot of your choice; we have a designated campground with fire pit available or if you are feeling adventurous, go off-grid in our forest among the trails and wildlife. 

Willing to accommodate several RVs, tents or both. We are suited for all kinds of campers - if tenting isn't your thing, we have rustic cottages for rent on the property. 

During your stay, enjoy proximity to numerous beaches, hiking trails, biking paths, ATV trails, and snowmobile routes.

Using the stove was nice, all my camping equipment got to stay comfortably packed away.

the living area of the trailer was so big, a dining table could fit up to 6 people and a nice pull out couch for seating or even more sleeping area

A private area by the lake for tent camping- room for 5-10 tents. In this space there is an option of renting a one room off-grid bunkie too! There is an outhouse in this area. ( This space is only available from September-March due to high water levels) 

An open meadow nestled along the forest line for tent camping with a private outhouse, picnic table & firepit. 

Pets are welcome as long as they are friendly and you clean up after them. 

Nature lovers are sure to love exploring this space! 

Check out our gardens, and variety or wildflowers & fungi! ( No foraging allowed, please).

The hosts offer a canoe rental for anyone interested in paddling around the lake – you can select this option when booking.&nbsp;

Learn more about this land:Come camp at the corner of Algonquin Park!Our building used to be a school, it was abandoned for years, we decided to bring back the life, rent out rooms, and provide campsites. The campsites are ideal for tenters, van camping, and&nbsp; (self-contained) RVs up to 40 feet. It is the perfect base camp for your Algonquin Park adventure.&nbsp;The washroom and shower are located inside the building. Communal Firepit on-site. Pets on leash welcome.The Round Lake public boat lunch is just 2 minutes, summertime you can enjoy the water, and in the wintertime the snowmobile trails, cross country skiing are here, waiting for you. End of the day you can relax in the hot tub. Free for our guests.&nbsp;

Adventure Source Expeditions

3 private acres along the Ottawa River minutes from Pembroke.  An adventure naturalists paradise with an abundance of diverse plant and wildlife.  Great fishing and multiple white water runs from out shore.  Located beside a golf course, general store SAQ, chip stand and bar/ restaurant.

Lakefront Glamping Retreat

The entire site is yours to use. Picnic table, fire pit and firewood are available. Lake is amazing for all water activities (boat launch is available on adjacent lake).  Kayaks, swimming mat and life jackets available.  A propane BBQ is also available for use.

Nearby activities include ATV trails, Provincial park, zip lining.

**Update** As of mid-August… the air mattress was replaced by a plush, king-sized bed!
