What a great place to fish and relax. It was a clear sky and you could see the stars like you can't I'm the city. Deborah is accommodating and a gracious hostice.

Debbie was the most kind and over-the-top accommodating host I’ve ever met. She spoiled me and my two girls! She fed us dinner and gave the girls treats. In the morning she gave the girls hot chocolate, toys and beads to play with. Her property was fun… being right on the bayou! She even had kayaks for us to use. She set chairs out for us to use to watch the bats at sunset. An absolutely amazing time was had!

I would highly recommend this spot me and my dog are doing a bike packing across the country and we stopped there for an overnight the host is extremely accommodating beautiful spot I can't say say enough about the host she is so nice everything was perfect

I stopped in for a quick overnight, it was fairly quiet and very picturesque. It was easy to get in and out with my motorcycle, and there was plenty of space for my backpacking tent.

We LOVED our time at Bayou Peninsula! Debbie and O.J. are gracious hosts with a beautiful property. The location is conveniently near I-10, the beach in next door Waveland, also bars, restaurants, shopping etc while being secluded enough to enjoy true peaceful down time. We enjoyed watching the waterfront property change with the tides and stargazing by the firepit at night. Debbie's generous hospitality cannot be overstated. She went above and beyond to make our stay a success. We look forward to our next getaway at Bayou Peninsula. If you go, say hi to their adorable pups Sandy and Leroy for us! Thanks again Debbie!!

To say that this was an amazing stay would be a massive understatement. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and for having such a beautiful property to spend 5 days at. Waking up next to the river each day was so calming and peaceful. Beach is 10 minutes up the road. Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and Walmart. Amazing host and would return in a heartbeat!

Deborah and her husband have a beautiful and peaceful peice of land. They are such kind people who made us feel so welcomed and were accommodating to our situation. Our kids and dogs had a great time. We would go back if we drive that way again and would 100% recommend them to anyone else.

This property is absolutely beautiful. It is close to the highway and has everything in the area you could need. The host (Deb)was welcoming and loved to share her local knowledge. If you like seafood try Mcbee’s, Deb recommended it and they had the best Po Boy sandwiches and Gumbo 😁 I’m very happy I use Hip Camp, very lucky to meet host families like Deb’s.
