Nature lovers can head down to the Macquarie River in Dubbo for a dip and to see ancient carvings in Terramungamine Reserve. In nearby Wellington, the Wellington Caves house one of the world’s largest stalagmites: The Altar, making it a great attraction for nature enthusiasts. The Wellington Caves also feature a lot of steps, so they’re not very stroller-friendly. The Phosphate Mine, however, is wheelchair- and pram-accessible.
