Ticklemans Garden is situated on the banks of the Warrego River. A place to get disconnected so that you can get connected to nature. Enjoy the fishing, the bird and wildlife.
We are only 24 kms (23.4km to gate) from Cunnamulla on mostly a dirt road, take care in driving, and if the road is wet, you will have to postpone your visit.
We have a supply of firewood that you can collect, but please no chopping of trees.
All campers must be self sufficient and bring own camping toilet. We do have one composting toilet for those emergency times.
Pets are welcome, but must be on leash as wildlife is in abundant around the area.

Our powered sites feature handy pads beside your van entrance — keeping the red dirt where it belongs: outside! You’ll find clean, separate men’s and women’s amenities, plus an accessible unisex bathroom conveniently located near the pub. A coin-operated washing machine and plenty of drying lines are also available for guests.
We’re a dry site, so all vans must hold their own grey and black water or direct grey water off-site. A black water dump point is located nearby, and we’re happy to show you where it is.
Dog friendly: well-behaved pups are welcome in both the park and the pub — just keep them on a lead or under control, and please clean up after them.
Whether you’re staying a night or setting up base to explore the surrounding Outback, Eulo Creek Hotel and Caravan Park is the ideal place to unwind and experience a true country welcome.

I enjoyed my stay at river camp it suits a smaller van I’ve got a 12 foot off road be fine up too 16 foot or camper trailers
Lots of birds very peaceful
I had a walk around good level drive through sites available away from river in winter be good option for star gazing no shade

Great camping at ticklemans right on the river
Collected firewood and had a lovely peaceful evening cooking on our campfire enjoying the serenity and looking at the stars.

Please note a 20 klms drive on an unmade road, very slow travel. Condition was pretty good but if rain could be a problem but Jane advised. Not a road to travel back to town, but once we were there wasn’t needed for our 2 nights. Couldn’t do better, just brilliant!
Initial entrance is a work in progress sites have new trees planted but many a year until any shade. Those sites weren’t very appealing. There was a sign for off road sites near river but didn’t get to see what like. Saw dust Toilet provided was immaculate especially for an outdoor toilet.
We stayed on sites numbered 14,15 & 16 which is the best. Totally off grid. Plenty of grass, few burrs!
Rates here was very reasonable. Plenty of wood on property to have a fire with which we loved.
Big river, 300m walk down an easily accessible bank, only 1 spot right on bank to fish and sit in a chair. River is beautiful, Fishing is great if lucky.

Great location right on a large billabong. Sites 4-6 is huge and easy to get on and off. Bird life was lovely and we even had good success fishing with the live shrimp we caught. The emu parade one evening was a highlight.

The location was breathtaking. Even though it’s 15mins from town on a dirt road (which is better than some sealed in the area), you just pack your supplies so you can just switch off - fishing, kayaking or just reading a book soaking in the bird sounds

We booked site 3 but stayed on site 2 near the river as it was a larger site suitable for our 18 foot caravan. It was very quiet with lots of bird life. Close to the composting toilet which were very clean. Access to sites 1 to 3 were challenging for a full size van and hard to find a flat spot. Sites 4 to 6 were more spacious but had other campers. The campground has great potential but needs more work developing the sites. The sites were ill prepared and not particularly attractive, needing significant development to enable a van to set up comfortably.

Recently opened campsite and welcoming hosts. Quiet and secluded bush camping for self contained campers and vans. Campfires and wood available. A choice of flat grassy sites or smaller sloping sites closer to the Warrego river. Best to contact owners Jane and Wayne before travelling on well maintained 22km dirt road to campsite. No cell coverage for Aldi mobile.
