Description

Equestrian campers will feel right at home at Groom Creek Horse Camp, and it’s an easy peasy 15 minutes away from Prescott. Every campsite has a steel corral and an overhead tether line that can handle two to four horses. Once you’ve settled in, wander the trails and weave through the ponderosa pines, enjoying the scenery. The spring is particularly excellent for wildflower viewing (so is the summer monsoon season, if you fancy riding in the rain). Keep an eye out for wildlife like deer, fox, rabbits, coyotes, bobcats, lizards, and birds.
