Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.

We have been able to clean up, regrow and make ready for camping guests. We once again have 6 tipis, all beautiful, and in addition, 6 new camping sites for people with their own tents. Sorry, NO rv's (vans are allowed.) Its wonderful to see all the beautiful regrowth, and to see that most of our trees have regenerated. It is now once again a beautiful place to be. It is their love for this land and a desire to share the beauty and Native experience with others to led them to open up these campgrounds. There is 15 acres in the immediate campgrounds & 6 tipi sites and 6 camping sites for folks with their own tents, so LOTS of privacy. Our ranch has 250 acres of land, great hiking trails that you will have access to for hiking, next to the Winema National Forest, and connected to the Pacific Crest Trail. You will have space to enjoy this beauty. The owner's horses are rescue horses and are their own private property. Please do NOT feed them or go up to them without the owners being there. Horses have delicate stomachs. Our gentle giants are mellow but very big so please stay OUT of their pasture. You may help us during their feeding time, if you ask owners.

Learn more about this land: 40 Acres surrounded by nature with a 1700 acre wildlife preserve to the West and BLM to the North and East. We have two ponds plus wetlands that are home to native turtles. You can visit them during the day if you are quiet. We are very secluded with no electricity and only one good area for cell. This allows people to spend more time with nature than with their phones. There is an unexplored cliff with fresh mountain springs to the East and a beautiful Glen on the Western side of the property. It is common to hear a grouse stomping or a woodpecker going about their day. The Cinnamon bears visit sometimes but does not approach people and will run off at the first sound of humans. This is an animal sanctuary. The bears also have their own trail on the property, ask one of the hosts to show you their park area. If you are lucky, you will get to hear the pacific tree frogs sing at night. If you come in the winter the snow shoeing possibilities are epic. In the summer the views are incredible.

On the two acres, there's a Porta-Potty available, and all tent campers will be provided with hand sanitizer and a bottle of water. The river is within walking distance, easily accessible off the main road, just about two car lengths away, off Sunna Ln. Additionally, I have a gravel driveway, mostly level, with room for one RV on the main driveway off Sprague River Road. This spot offers a river view and access for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. It's approximately 5 miles to the town of Chiloquin, about 35 miles from Crater Lake, roughly 12 miles from Collier Park Museum (a logging museum), and around 32 miles to Klamath Falls. A short drive from Crater Lake National Park, Klamath Falls, Oregon makes for a great base for RV campers exploring both Crater Lake and the surrounding Umpqua National Forest, as well as Lava Beds National Monument, just over the border in California. While many visitors use Klamath Falls as a base for visiting Southern Oregon and Northern California attractions, the city is a destination unto itself, offering great hiking and boating, plus easy access to the whitewater rapids of the Klamath River.
