Description
Relax beneath the regal pines surrounded by sand dunes at the park’s main campground. There’s no sea view—but the Gulf is just a quarter mile walk away. The 60 campsites here are decked out with electricity, water, and hot showers nearby. If you’ve got wee ones, they’ll stay busy on the nearby playground, or take nature walks on the numerous trails that fan out from the campground. For ultimate relaxation, you can set up hammocks in campsites 7, 19, and 37.

One of my favorite campgrounds so far, walk to the beautiful beach that is often pretty empty. Nice bathrooms and make sure to bring the bug spray.
