Redbank offers sites across 200 acres of land, SITE 1 a main area offers 4 large sites suited to campers wanting to be super close to toilet, shower, camp kitchen, and playgrounds, which is a major hit with the kids making it a popular spot for families.
The camp kitchen has dining space and barbecue facilities.
There are about 6 paddock sites that are still within walking distance to all facilities but are nicely spread out to provide guests with there own space.
We have 4 sites that you will either need to be a self-sufficient camper, or keen for a hike to facilities as these sites offer a lot more privacy and would need 4wD to access.
2 more sites that you must completely self sufficient and have 4wd skills.
We are a no trace camp ground and ask you to take all waste with you when you leave.
Dogs are permitted in camps but must be kept on a leash to protect our livestock.
Redbank is a working Farm and you will likely see or hear evidence of this during your stay, but we are very considerate of our campers and have had a wonderful experience sharing our land so far and had very happy campers.

Horse Riding - Doran Park Trail Rides is 1 km away and provides arranged horse trail rides, must book in advance. Or bring your own horses to the Shedquarters, there's heaps of room for them to safely and comfortably stay (we are a horse property). Paddocks and a large yard, places to park the float and hay deliveries on request. A homemade grassed arena with jumps available. On the wet days an indoor arena is available to book 5kms away, advanced bookings required.
Walk or Ride to - The Shepards Daughters Grave located in the Lal Lal Forest.

We are so excited to add out two girls Little Pattie (red and built in 1963) and Peggy Sue (mint and built in 1959). As soon as we get the toilet and shower ready, they will be listed. We also have ordered wood fired hot tubs that should arrive by Easter.
We have heaps of animals -goats, sheep, horses, miniature horses, dogs, cats, and pigs.
We have two milking goats
We have fresh eggs in season.
We can supply fresh rain water.
There are two dams, which could have yabbies (we did put them in there).
Locally, there are many attractions which you can see and do. Ballarat and Ararat are approximately 30 minutes either way. Ararat has the historic J Ward for the criminally insane, and Aradale Asylum. The Grampians National Park is 1 hour away. Skipton Rail Trail is close by as well. Beaufort has cafes, Op Shops, pubs, galleries and all the takeaway regulars.
Beaufort Market is currently not running, Avoca (40 minutes away) is the fourth Sunday and the huge Talbot Market (40 minutes away) is the third Sunday in the month.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they don’t chase the animals.
There are no facilities here, but we will have a toilet and shower for the March long weekend, and we are hiring a portable toilet for the Pyrenees Hideaway.

Although we have a fully-fenced back garden, the front fence has large gaps between the rails through which an animal could escape, and the front gate cannot be securely closed.
Pls read the following rules carefully before booking, as if any of these rules are not adhered to, payments from security bond will be withheld and your booking may be cancelled.
⁃ House trained animals only. If evidence of toileting inside is found a $50 cleaning charge will be deducted from the security bond.
⁃ No pets on furniture. Pls ensure pet’s own bedding is provided. Pls vacuum regularly if your pet sheds excessively. If excessive pet hairs are found on property bedding or furniture a $50 cleaning charge will be deducted from the security bond.
⁃ All pet waste must be collected from the property in bags provided and disposed of in outside red bin. If our property managers have to pick up after your animal there will be a $50 cleaning charge taken from the security bond.
⁃ No excessive barking - pls respect our house rules regarding noise on our property. If this rule is not adhered to, your booking will be cancelled and you will be asked to vacate the property.
⁃ Please do not leave your animals alone inside for long periods of time, as this increases risk of damage to the property and the above rules not being adhered to. Any costs incurred from damage caused to our property by your animal will be deducted from your security bond.

You will also get to experience farm life up close. Meet the animals or just relax and enjoy the space. We have 40 acres for you to wander around and enjoy. Collect the eggs or pat the donkeys, Meet the cows and guinea fowl, or enjoy a campfire (weather and Fire Danger period permitting). All our paddocks are treed, providing shelter to visitors and animals. We now have our gypsy van for the adventurous. Most importantly we know how important it is to provide adequate space between campers so you will not be crammed in.
There is Barwon Park Mansion, owned by the National Trust nearby that you can take a peek through or enjoy the river walks in the town center, less than 2km away. Shops, including a supermarket, are in town if you forgot something. There are also some collectable shops you can visit.
