Get away from it all in Connie's Cabin, located 1/4 mile walk down a wooded path from where you will park. Experience zero light pollution at this off the grid cabin or in one of our camping spots. Cabin is equipped with a a pullout bed with sheets and blankets, an outhouse, water, a camp stove, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, books, a few battery powered lights (but good to bring your own), kindling and firewood, and is insulated with a stove for winter stays. A fire pit and benches await your nighttime enjoyment of the solitude and stars. Rides are available to site for a $20 upcharge (roundtrip). We also have pollinator and vegetable gardens and chickens, and we produce maple syrup in the spring. If guests are interested, they may sign up for workshops on carpentry, food preservation, foraging, gardening, bread baking, and kombucha-brewing. Suburbia old orchard

There are several campsites as well as a cozy bed in a cabin that you can stay in. The property used to be an orchard, until most was sold and converted to housing developments. My one acre and a few old cherry trees remains. Both the camping areas and the cabin are in sight of my house. But, there are plenty of areas to choose from. I can supply a fire ring and logs to burn if you are interested. Dogs allowed, as long as they get along with and don’t chase other animals. You must be animal friendly! I have a dog, two indoor/outdoor cats, and chickens.
