Welcome to the enchanting Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground, a pristine natural paradise nestled nearby the Monongahela National Forest and graced by the stunning Dry Fork River. Since our grand opening in July 2022, we've been welcoming guests year-round to explore and enjoy our 35 acres of unspoiled wilderness forest, complete with winding trails and a captivating 2100 feet of riverfront. Our diverse accommodations cater to all outdoor enthusiasts. Choose from 15 camping sites, each equipped with fire pits and slabwood benches amidst ample parking. For those seeking a rustic retreat, our 5 primitive shelter cabin sites feature cozy 10x12 lofted barn cabins, securely lockable with your padlock. RV adventurers are welcome too, with 10 picturesque near riverside spots (best suited for towed RVs up to 30 feet). Four of these provide full electric and water hook-ups, while the other six offer a serene boon-docking experience. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nearly 4 miles of wilderness riverfront, situated on a breathtaking road leading to the charming town of Parsons, WV - the heart of Tucker County and gateway to Thomas, Davis, and Canaan Valley. Your adventure starts here: kayak down the merging Dry Fork and Black Fork Rivers, stroll over to the nearby Hendricks via a charming cable suspension bridge, or explore the Fernow Experimental Forest, just a mile downstream. The surrounding Monongahela National Forest awaits with its vast, unlogged forests. Thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike will find no shortage of activities. From waterfall explorations, creek adventures, and fishing to kayaking, tubing, and hiking, there's something for everyone. Don't forget to bring your bikes, kayaks, tubes, roller blades, snorkels, goggles, and river shoes for an unforgettable outdoor experience! Our camp provides spring water spigots for general use, an office cabin with electric charging access, and clean porta-potties. Wi-Fi is available near the office cabin (password: campground19). Electric RV-site RV4
Great place to camp!! BEAUTIFUL and clean, well kept areas. Loved they had firewood available for small fee - best that it was sold on the honor system- if u take wood put the money in the box. 😊 Thanks for the tent with water, coffee, tea etc.! Unexpected and much appreciated! Awesome experience will be back!

Electric RV-site RV1
Riverside Haven
We had a great time camping here early in the season (end of April). Vince was super helpful and answered all of our questions leading up to our stay as well as while we were there. We rented site RV1 and there was no one in RV2-RV4 during our stay. Lots of great dry firewood for a cheap price of 12.50 per wheel barrow load. Our site was very close to the main one way paved road which was great and allowed our kids to ride their bikes back and forth a nice 500-ft stretch where we could see them. It was fairly quiet except for some machinery from renovation that they were doing. They are planning on adding a shower house sometime this year. Just a reminder that the water on site is non-potable, which is great for cleaning dishes and stuff but you should boil before drinking or bring your own water. The beach area and riverside were awesome and we enjoyed our time hanging out by the river. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend camping here to anyone!

The Rosendorff - Cabin CB4
Clean Clean Clean!
Extremely clean cabin & porta potty! The cabin is exactly as described, so make sure you bring everything you’ll need. We came prepared & had an amazing trip. Nice quiet area, across the road from the stream. The bridge in the photos is about a half mile walk up the road. Wood was easily accessible and reasonably priced if needed - but the option to forage for downed limbs was great! Short drive from the Blackwater State Park & Table Rock trail. Stopped several times in the small town of Thomas close by - definitely suggest checking out The Purple Fiddle, Happy & More bakery, and Mountain State Brewing (amazing pizza!!) Do note - the road to get to the campsite is virtually one way and tight in some places.

Campsite C5
We loved camping in our tent on Vincent’s land! Such a beautiful, secluded connection to the earth. We arrived in between rainstorms and Vincent was even kind enough to offer us one of the cabins to stay in instead. Although we weather any storm in our tent, we appreciated the offer nonetheless. Vincent’s covered coffee area was really nice to play cards in and wait out the storm. He made it easy to bring firewood to our campsite with the wheelbarrows and there was plenty easy access to dry wood! The rushing river nearby was a beautiful bonus to a peaceful nights sleep. Definitely will be back!
