Our charming cabin is nestled at the foot of our property, alongside a tranquil creek and only ¼ mile from a national forest day use area. Explore endless hiking and biking trails right at your doorstep! Guests can unwind and disconnect with no Wi-Fi and limited cell phone reception. However, if you need to stay connected, we're only a 20-minute drive from downtown Asheville or Black Mountian and 10 minutes from local coffee shops. There is a parking area that can fit one large or two small cars off our driveway right across from the short (30-ish yard) path to the cabinet. You have access to a fire pit with a cooking grate, so bring your favorite camping meals! This is a micro-cabin 12'x16'. There is a comfy leather couch with a recliner on one side, a small kitchenette with potable water, a propane camp stove, and a kettle to make your coffee or tea! We provide coffee and sugar. There is a small bathroom with a composting toilet you can do all your business in, and it is vented, so there is no smell! Use the rolling ladder to climb up to the loft to a cozy sleeping area with a full-sized bed. Under the cabin is a private outdoor shower. We'll provide a 5-gallon shower bag full and ready to go. During the colder months, you can use the propane fireplace to create a warm and relaxing environment. This cabin is perfect for 2 people but could also accommodate a small family.

Spicebush Creek
One of our Fav stays near Asheville
This place is even better than the photos! The place was warm and cozy on a chilly Oct day. We had a large area to ourselves surrounded by trees. Large Fire pit area with table. We brought our camping chairs for more comfort. They provide some cool stools & picnic bench but I like having a comfy chair by the fire. The shower was perfect after a day of hiking, it was rather cold water, but honestly all you really needed! We were able to do most of the dishes in the creek right outside the cabin. The compost toilet was really cool! I appreciated not having to go outside in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. So awesome! They also had awesome motion lights following the path to the cabin at night, so thoughtful. We drove around the area and we’re able to catch sight of a few bears from our car! What a cool and special thing to see on our trip! HIGHLY recommend staying here. Very close access to Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway. I can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you!

Spicebush Creek
This magical little cabin is a great place to stay on your visit to Asheville. It’s only 10 minutes from downtown while being secluded in nature. Ashley went above and beyond to make sure that all the necessities were covered, even down to the firewood. Such a charming place for a weekend getaway. We can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely Breathtaking
Wow, this cabin is absolutely stunning! It felt like we were sleeping in a magical treehouse. The creek, the woods, the location plus the gorgeous craftsmanship and thoughtful touches make this place a must stay. Will definitely be back!
