Tranquil Retreat Amidst Nature
Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes, our recent camping experience at Selby Horse Farm was nothing short of a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We camped 2 nights in our 33-foot travel trailer which we could have faced either direction thanks to the extra extension cables which were available to borrow at the site. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the presence of majestic horses grazing peacefully in the nearby pastures. Our youngest is a horse lover and she cherished the opportunity to interact with these magnificent animals up close. From gentle nuzzles to playful antics, every encounter with the horses was a memorable moment that added to the magic of our camping experience. What truly set Selby Horse Farm apart, however, was the unparalleled sense of seclusion and exclusivity it offered. Having the entire place to ourselves during our stay was definitely an added bonus! The hosts came by and offered a couple of extra things we might consider doing during our stay, and although we couldn't fit those in during this visit, we plan to return soon.

Beautiful, green, quiet
What a beautiful place! Rolling hills of green, herds of happy looking horses, well maintained gravel road, friendly and welcoming host, level space for our Airstream, water and electric hookups, and deep, delicious silence. Only 10 minutes from I-70 and in its own green universe; we couldn’t have wished for a better place to lay our travel-weary heads

Beautiful stay :)
Wonderful place to stay in such a strong and beautiful tree. Hosts were lovely as well :) Definitely recommend waking up for sunrise and listening to the birds and horses. It was such a lovely way to start the day, wish I could've stayed longer! 100/10 recommend :)

Powerful old tree
Wonderful property—great to have the oak, and to visit the observation deck up there. We stayed below since there was a weather front, but there was a great flat spot. My companions and I also adored the miniature horses nearby.

This place was just what we needed for a relaxing night outdoors. We enjoying hanging out under the tree by a campfire. Doug was incredibly friendly and my kids loved the horses.
