Within a 60-minute drive from the North Cascades National Park Wilderness Information Center.
Our 7 acre property is located between the Stilliguamish River and the Whitehorse trail. It's a mostly forested property with trails you can walk through the woods. The central clearing contains our large vegetable garden and our home. There is a steep bank to the river near the tent. There is a riverside bench for lounging and trails to stroll through our woods. The tent is surrounded by trees, thus very private.
These trails can lead you to the Whitehorse Trail, a rail trail suitable for bicycling. You can be in Darrington on a bicycle in about 40 minutes or ride the other direction to Oso in about an hour. In Darrington there is a mountain bike park on North Mountain, a coffee shop and a brewery.
Come enjoy nature at it's finest at our lovely campsite!We offer a furnished wall tent, running water for cooking, a two burner Coleman stove and a tidy pit toilet. There is a riverside bench for lounging and trails to stroll through our woods. The tent is surrounded by trees, thus very private. We'll respect your privacy by texting rather than wandering over uninvited.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of birdsong, and stars on clear nights. It's very quiet at night though sometimes during the day or evening our neighbors across the river can be noisy.
About a mile down the Whitehorse Trail you'll come to Squire Creek, our preferred swimming hole.
We live on the property, so certain areas we reserve in order to have our own space, though we delight in meeting folks. Just let us invite you before wandering into our garden.
There is also a propane fire pit to enjoy (and to reduce fire danger), and there is electricity and lighting in the wall tent.
