Glendale Camping
Great spot close enough to pop into town, far enough out to hear the awesome frog symphony from the wetland across the way at night. Water and hookups were great. Thanks for everything!

The firepit was awesome. The site was level, and appreciated access to wifi, power, and water. The sounds of birds and frogs from accross the road was lovely.

Would rather park in a Walmart lot
Site is right off the main road, couldn’t find a trail to the bog but it’s right across the main road. Hard to find the site, we had to just look for the “for sale” sign. Yes, the property is for sale and we could tell why. It’s basically just a gravel turnaround with a rock fire pit and power hookup connected to other gravel turnarounds (one of which has a construction vehicle parked in it). Definitely not serene with the main road right next to it you can hear and see all cars passing by. We didn’t even feel comfortable outside our camper van because it was too quiet, not even crickets, made us feel like sitting ducks. Made us feel so uncomfortable that we didn’t even set up camp. Even as we quickly left we felt metal scraping our vehicle and saw three cars swerve behind us on the main road leaving the “property”. If you want to pay to stay on a not so open lot that is clearly waiting for a house to be set up on (while still making profit off if the site) with no security right off a main road where you feel you’re being watched by whoever/whatever could be out there, this is the place for you.

Stay here! Great location!
This is an amazing Hipcamp in a location with very few campgrounds. The communication was excellent, the service was great from the Host. The Host even brought us a propane fire pit when we couldn’t have a fire in the GORGEOUS fire pit provided you to burn bans. The location with spectacular and we had a wonderful four days.

Good Wi-Fi. Very much out there. A great stop to arrive and sleep. Construction site is very active- even on a Saturday. And it’s very secluded once there. Lots of birds and deer when we awoke.
