Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is 4 secluded, undeveloped beachfront acres 1 mile downstream of Skamakowa on the Washington side of the Columbia river. Although there is a rough foot-trail from Vista Park in Skamakowa, it ends shortly before the property, and Vista Park discourages overnight parking. The easiest way to access is by boat or Kayak. For easiest access, boat or kayak in to the beach. It is possible to walk by foot, but challenging, because the trail from Vista Park (Skamakowa) ends 300 yards before reaching the property, which can require walking through (typically) shallow water along the beach cliffs to reach the property.
