Absolutely Wonderful!!
Beautiful location right to the water. Good access for kayaks and fishing. Extremely private with wonderful views of the cliffs and mountains. We will be back

Camping in the shade on the river
Terry was extremely helpful and a wonderful host! The property is very secluded and peaceful. Terry came by and checked on us due to the weather not being great which was above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone trying to get away and relax. Will book again in the future.

Camping in the shade on the river
Our stay at Camping in the Shade was fantastic. With stunning mountain views and a peaceful river, it was the perfect spot for relaxation and family fun. The kids loved watching the passing train, playing in the river, and swinging on the swings. Terry, our host, was super helpful, offering great suggestions for local activities. Plus, plenty of firewood and the pavilion were added bonuses. If you're looking for a quiet, picturesque retreat, this is it. Highly recommended!

Best Hipcamp Ever
Wow...just...wow. Absolutely beautiful place: totally private, great views, choice of shade or sun, plenty of room. No problem getting in with a 2WD camper van. Terry is a great host. A+ in every respect!

Paradise
This place was amazing! I've been to a lot of Hipcamp/airbnb campsites and this one is at the top of the list. Beautiful Mountain View, very secluded, river right next to the campsite. Couldn't be better!
