41) Full Hook-Up, Pull-Thru 65'

Spectacular Hipcamp-ground

This campground is spectacular. The beautiful red rock cliffs of the Torrey area of Capitol Reef N.P. tower behind the campground which is located in a bucolic little town in a serene valley very close to Capitol Reef. Staff are super friendly. The camp store is chock full of very nice jewelry, souvenirs, T-shirts and other gifts. It also has common RV supplies. The campsites are wide with full hookups. It’s very quiet there and everyone we met were very nice. There is a BBQ restaurant there which has rave reviews. The nearby town is chock full nice restaurants and shops. Check out Chak Balam (red jaguar in Mayan language) for a delicious Mexican meal at very reasonable prices. And of course, Capitol Reef is stunning to explore. Book this Hipcamp today!

01) Water & Electricity Back-In 31'

5 Star Experiance

We needed a place to stay overnight with our 18’ camper van. This spot turned out to be ideal. Close to Capitol Reef NP, the campground was clean as can be, well organized and had a friendly staff. With your fee, you have access to free shower facilities as well. We also had some delicious food at the on site BBQ restaurant, which is unpretentious and casual. 5 star experience at Thousand Lakes.

Yes! Choose this place.

Beautiful sites! I was really surprised since the ad doesn’t reflect the beauty. The service is amazing too. I arrived 5 minutes before closing and was greeted by two beautiful smiles. Caring, kind women run this place with love.
