Farm Camping At The Heart Of RDU

Off-Leash Secluded Camping

Neil and his wife were both absolutely beyond amazing. Upon arrival, they met us and gave us an adorable welcome package with a smore kit inside and showed us around the property. They have multiple options for camping, whether you want to be in a little, private, grassy knoll closer to your car, or a spot very secluded near their private lake. Both spots are beautiful and completely offleash for your fur babies. 😊 Once you pick your spot, they have a little fire pit and a wheelbarrow of wood that can be brought right to your site, which is so convenient! Plus, their location is prime, located 15 minutes from falls lake recreation, so if you want to tube or swim, this is a great spot for easy access! To add to their hospitality, we got stuck in some mud after a heavy rain (it happens) but they went above and beyond to help us. Neil had boards and shingles and even made a special trip out to get gravel to try to get us out. When all else failed, his wife used her AAA for us to get us towed out so it didnt cost us anything. They didn't have to do any of that yet they still spent their whole morning/afternoon making sure we were OK, offering water for us and the pup, letting us hang out on the porch, and just keeping us company as we waited. I'm beyond grateful for their kindness! Overall absolutely amazing hosts and just all around great people to meet. We will definitely be back to their little slice of heaven 💗💗 thank you for such an amazing experience!
