Crazy Goats Farm
Totality Magic!!
This was hands down one of our all time favorite camping experiences! Can't recommend enough. Me, my sister and her three kids secured a spot there so we could experience the eclipse totality. I'm not sure which the kids were more impressed with, the baby goats or the celestial magic. The animals were SO cute and sweet and our hosts were so warm and welcoming. They immediately felt like friends. We checked out the morning of the eclipse but the kids really wanted to hang with the animals so we asked and they invited us back to watch totality with them! Made a big bonfire and watched it get dark out in the middle of the day together. It was an experience we will never forget. We can't wait to come back. Don't hesitate, book this!!

Camping with goats
We had a great time at the goat farm. Karen and Mike were incredible hosts. The goats had just had adorable babies and we were able to hold them...an unexpected treat. We tent camped and although they didn't have traditional camps sites you can pick any spot you wanted on their land. We picked a spot that was within walking distance to the bathrooms and shower and felt completely isolated from other campers. Bathrooms and shower were clean.
Highly recommend this farm if you are in the area!

Karen and her family were lovely. We decided to camp in the woods and they let us burn whatever downed branches were there. It was nice and private under the trees and a quick walk to a clean private bathroom in the barn. Bonus were the cute goats!

Karen was helpful and accommodating. We originally planned to stay in November but had a last minute an issue with our RV and was able to change our stay to March. We really appreciated the opportunity to use our reservation for a future date. We chose this spot for having water hookup and electric. We didn't have the adapter for 110 to 30 amp. But luckily Walmart is a short trip down the road and they had it in stock for under $10. Our only difficulty with electric was some light flickering. As it got closer to our date the weather was supposed to be poor and Karen even offered to move our date again. We ended up going anyway and just dealt with the raining mud. My son loved seeing the animals in the back and wanted to keep visiting them even in the rain. We ate at Bella's in Geneva our first night and got serenaded at our table. We had a nice trip and will be back, hopefully with some sunshine

Convenient and flexible for my needs but not so sure about the 30 amp electrical run on a power cord from the house. Probably would have gone back to my previous location if I knew that. Prefer a receptacle or box not an extension cord buried under leaves. Upon waking the smell of the Ontario county landfill was not pleasant. You can see it from the property and smell it if the wind shifts.

In all fairness, it was raining, so we couldn’t enjoy the property. We selected the property because it had a bathroom and shower. The hosts needs to be finished. Also, there’s no workable lock on the door, which created an embarrassing situation.
The host was not ready for arrival. They were friendly, but surprised we showed up in the rain.
This property is VERY close to a state highway, which could be problematic for light sleepers.
