Barn Door Hostel - Campground
We love Barn Door Hostel!!!!!
Camping at Barn Door Hostel was such a sweet experience! The staff was accommodating and kind and the space was well taken care of while still keeping that classic hostel/communal flair. I am beyond excited to come back, share the find with friends, and try out other lodging options they have to offer. The space was so nice i almost forgot to mention that the location rocks as well. It's super close to great hiking, climbing, and all outdoors-ing that one could hope for! PS: Their cold brew is very yummy :)

We tent camped and loved that the field was surrounded by a babbling brook! Easy check in too

Camping plus Doggos!
I loved camping on David’s land! It was beautifully maintained and easy to navigate. I stayed midweek and I was thoroughly pleased with all the amenities and views. There were even doggos that visited my picnic table! Yes, I had my very own private spot because there were only 3 other campers on the day I arrived. By the next day it was just me in the campground. Very peaceful. Make sure to let your loved ones know there is no cell service for Google-Fi carriers! Got some frantic texts once I hopped onto the wifi by the water station 😅

Continuously improving!
I’ve stayed at this hostel a few times every year since 2017 or so and somehow, every time I am more and more impressed. David already had a smooth operation when I first camped out here but now he is continuously improving on the amenities of his site. Wonderful!

There's no better campground with access to the white mountains anywhere in NH. Even if you aren't a climber (we are not), there's a sense of community here that I've never felt at any other campground.
We'll be back every year, multiple times per year.
