Nestled on the shores of Ducklake this 2 acre parcel is an ideal location to kick back , enjoy and explore the eastern side of Glacier park. We are 20 mins from the park gates, 20 mins from Many Glacier and about 40 mins to Waterton park. The gradual sloping beach is perfect for all kinds of water sports and recreation. Many grassed areas or shady treed sites and the sites on the beach with breathtaking sunrises, sunsets and most amazing stars at night. Ducklake is well known for its trophy rainbow trout aswell. We have 2 kayaks, a canoe, little fishing boat with electric motor, an assortment of rods and lures, propane BBQ, and solo smokeless campfire pits. All for guest to enjoy and use on a first come first serve basis.Large beautiful areas in the trees or above on the flats can accommodate almost any rig. Only want to share one site for 2023 with full hookups. We hope to have 4 private sites with full hookups for the mid 2024 season. All sites will have great views of the rocky mountains and the lake. This area is known for an abundance of wildlife from deer moose elk, foxes to the grizzly's. Across the lake is a peninsula called Pelican point where during periods of the year will hosts hundreds of the enormous birds competing with the Eagles and ospreys. Were happy to comment that new for 2024 we added a gender nutral shower house along with a coffee room with free coffee and a microwave for our guests to use. We added 3 solo smoke free portable fire pits and a full size propane bbq. all on a first come basis.

Stay here -- it's a MUST!

Too many good things to fit into a review! Nicest, nicest, nicest people we've ever met. Blown away by the kindness, the hospitality, and the gracious conversation. And SO MUCH generosity with their land, their time, their belongings to make sure we had the best time. They even helped us level our van! The spot itself....gorgeous. Right on the water, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Best HipCamp we've ever stayed with. Don't skip on this one, and stay as long as you can. Thank you so much!!!!

Glacer hollow

Hosts went above and beyond accommodating us. Abby and Anna are extremely kind and funny and we throughly enjoyed talking to them! The site was beautiful, probably one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at. We set up our camp right in front of the water, which is a beautiful clear lake with a view of glacier in the distance. Port a pottie is very clean and well maintained, and if you really need it you can get WiFi signal on a part of the property. This place is very close to both St Mary’s and Many Glacier entrances. When I come back to the glacier area this is where I’ll be staying from now on!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lake is beautiful, and it was an amazing sunset. With the clear night and no light pollution, the stars were brilliant. Abby and Anna are amazing hosts and were right there to help with finding a level spot. Abby also came by in the morning to check in with campers at each site - such a welcoming host. The proximity to the Many Glacier Area of Glacier NP was super. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Abby is was a great host and extremely accommodating! The land was a prefect camping spot right on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains. Quick and easy access to glacier national park as well!

I loved staying here- some of the best hosts I’ve ever had. The site is about 20 min from the St Mary/many glacier entrances. Lots of tent sites to choose from. Likely would want a good 4wd car to take the fort road to get here. Tent sites available on the lake front property. Felt super safe (gated property with alarm)

Me and 3 of my friends stayed at Glacier Getaway for 2 nights. The stay was absolutely amazing- from the mountain view, crystal clear water, short drive to Glacier National Park, and the helpfulness from the host, we will definitely be back. The host went above and beyond accommodating us and we can’t thank him enough for the awesome time we had! Book glacier hallow for your next trip!
