Eclipse at Summers Pasture 2
Had a lovely time
Wonderful spot to hunker down and watch the eclipse. Stayed with five people in three cars, and had a bunch of equipment with us. Several other groups with the same idea—kids, families, etc. nearby but not messing with our elbow room. Lots of folks walking around enjoying the morning. Gorgeous funnel webs, cardinals, and a nearby railroad that didn’t disturb sleep, but I’m used to that sound. Also had a couple of ticks, but they were small and easily dealt with, but take caution in this part of the country!
