Forest Edge
Primitive Camping Recommended!
The grounds are really quaint. There's plenty to explore and little trails for early morning. It's about 30 minutes from anything else of interest, so plan accordingly. We spent a couple days on the camp site exclusively and it didn't disappoint. There are donkeys, horses, goats, birds, squirrels, rabbits, so much to see. We booked the RV but I ended up using the outhouse exclusively for showers. There's a lot of space at the communal showers, the water is hot and the space seems relatively new. The outhouse itself wasn't well suited for two people. The bunk beds only offer a thin "mattress" and the dinette doesn't convert. My friend ended up sleeping on the love seat one night to try to be more comfortable. The bed was okay. The RV itself was not clean. Out in the wilderness, and on a farm no less, I definitely expect some bugs, but this was more than I anticipated. We would have preferred to stay in tents on the site-- I would have rated this 5 stars had we gone that route. There are plenty of campsites, plenty of space, fire rings available. It was a great stay all in all but the RV cleanliness and comfort really hurt my experience.

Paradise
This place is absolutely amazing, the beauty of the landscape. The horses and donkeys roam around all day. The owners are fantastic making sure you are enjoying your time with them. On Sat. And Sunday they give a tour of the animals that are not allowed to roam free , what a treat my granddaughter able to hold a baby goat. From the grounds to the animals everything is amazingly taken care of. They even have the most beautiful 10 year old turkey. If you want to leave the stress of every day life this is the place for you.

Little peace of heaven
This was my first time using hipcamp and it didn't disappoint. The next place I stay will have a hard time measuring up, From the cute outdoor showers (with hot water) and restrooms (with flush toilets) to the serene whimsical landscape. I didn't want for anything while I was there ,Mike and Rob had thought of everything. They even provided towels wash cloths and soaps in the showers. The place was meticulously kept and clean. Waking up to the donkeys and horses every morning was a true delight (don't forget to bring snacks for them). I can not recommend this place enough. Dont forget to do the farm tour! Getting to love on and pet all of the animals made my heart happy. Mike and Rob were very responsive anytime I reached out. I will definitely be coming back.

Magnolia Hill tent
We loved the tent camping at Rob & Mikes, Lucky U Ranch. Stayed at Hunters Hideaway which was in the heart of nature. The donkeys were definitely the highlight of my GF day. Excellent experience, great bathrooms, and friendly people!

Rob and Mike are great hosts. So very friendly and they give a great tour of their animals during the ranch experience (highly recommend this tour). The camping area is kept neat and clean along with the shower/bathroom facilities are top notch. We just found this place in January and we have been 3 times already. This will be our go to camping spot forever! I would suggest everyone try out this place, you won’t be disappointed.
