Unfortunately it was raining during our trip but it was fun day. The host was friendly and made sure that we could enjoy ourselves in bad weather.

As soon as we arrived John greeted us with a smile. The sound of the running creek is so serene. There was a cow that my nephew had a blast petting!
Unfortunately it rained all day Saturday so we didn’t get to explore as much as we wanted but the spots were huge and private. The hosts are absolutely amazing and friendly. Bathrooms with running water and clean were a huge plus for those in tents. We will definitely be back!

Great campground with great hosts!
Our trip was awesome. As soon as we arrived, John was so accommodating. He personally brought us to our site, answered all of our questions, and took time out of his busy day to help tie tarp above our tent since the following day forecasted rain. The grounds have a lake that you can boat and fish on and every site is so close to the water! Literally a 50 foot climb up a hill. The bathrooms have hot running water and a shower which are huge pluses for anyone who needs to shower. To be frank, I was not a camper until this trip. Our experience (despite the rainy and cold second day) was so good that I bought a ton of camping gear in anticipation for our next trip. My family and I are already planning our trip back to visit John and Trina. Thanks guys!

Glamping in a travel trailer
We showed up with our 26 foot travel trailer there was enough room to make the turns into the campsite and they offered water to fill our tank But no dump station.
This time of year is very magical there with lots of greenery lots of birds and insects . The lake looks popular for fishing with a small boat ramp but I did not fish.
They have one young cow that will free range a little bit and Came by our campsite to say hi.
Flushing toilets and showers are available at the host house area but there is a porter potty near the campsite we did not use

🏕️Great Camping Spot!🐇🐸🦇🦅🐶🐄
Trina, John, Miss Willis, D.O.G, and Peanut are incredible! Our camp site was so comfortable with beautiful surroundings. Nice and quiet! We were fortunate and had hardly any other campers which was nice because it gave us an opportunity to explore around the property even more. Great bird spotting & we found plenty of other wildlife (bunnies, lizards, frogs, & bats). It is a camp only space, which we knew, so no nearby trail heads or anything for day exploring. We ventured out to the Calveras Big Trees not too far out from camp… great day trip. We will definitely be back to camp out again sometime soon.
