Convenient stop for the night and get a hot shower - only a easy mile a half from I-20 exit 173 ( Eastaboga - Talladega Superspeedway Exit ) also a good base camp to see Cheaha State Park - bike at Coldwater Mountain- see the Talladega Superspeedway- or other area Activities - I reserve one RV site and two tent sites for hipcamp and rent the other five RV sites at the top of hill on a monthly basis - these hipcamp sites are wooded, shady with woods between the other sites to give some privacy while still not far from the unique showers made from the old chicken house feed bins -these showers are very functional and I have been complimented that they are the best showers on the east coast

Tent Site 2 - 120 volt power
It was really late when I arrived and I felt safe once I reached the top of the hill and parked. I woke up to the sunshine and birds chirping and the facilities for showering and bathing and laundry have all the necessary components with ac/heater etc. John is very nice and we had a brief chat in the morning. I found a few options for cute coffee shops nearby as well. My dog was happy and safe too

Loved it!
Great site for camping! Quiet and clean. Everyone in my group thought it was great. Clean restrooms and shower. We were able to fish and kayak. John was a great host, super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go there again!

Nice stay!
John was quick to response and we easily found the camp site. Our site was up the steep hill in the back of the property. It was pretty level and a private site. Loved seeing the first lightening bugs!

Well equipped and secluded campsite. Beautiful area. It was a pleasure to visit John’s camping area.
