Lake Georgia-Sue is an 85 acre oasis of relaxation and fun. We are located in East Central Kansas, not far from Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, and Wichita. The lake itself is 8 acres, with a lot of fish, swimming, small craft boating, kayaking, and wind surfing. The property has numerous sites where you can private pasture your horses, work them in our private round pens, and trail ride them in the hundreds of miles of trails that intersect the property. These are VERY large and private campsites with no nosey or loud neighbors. Sites are for primitive tenting or full RV 30 amp and water hookups. Lakefront sites or forest sites are available. Showers, toilets, AC Clubhouse, playground, ponies, pet pigs, goats, and chickens. Pet friendly. Group camping for up to 25 people. Great for weddings, birthdays, etc We are just a short drive from four larger state lakes. An abundance of good restaurants are just ten minutes away, and sometimes we take a trail ride to eat Mexican or BBQ in the village close by.

Lake Meadow 1
I loved to tent camped at Fred’s land. He’s super nice and friendly! The views were so beautiful and breezy! I was sitting outside the whole time we stayed there!! The club house was so clean for a shower and a pool table! You also can feed animals with foods. Cons: the train was loud at night! Make sure you stay far away from the trains

Lake Meadow 1
Beautiful!
First let me say that for RV'ers staying here: there are no fixed power hook-ups. The owner is very accommodating and can provide you with a generator, but using a loud generator certainly taints the environment for you and all the campers around you. We only used power sparingly so as to minimize disturbing those around us. It kept us from running the A/C in our RV, which was ok in the spring but had it been the dead of summer we would have needed to run the generator constantly. Beyond that hiccup, owners were extremely accommodating and this is easily the most beautiful and wonderfully unique camp ground I've seen in years. It's situated on a working equestrian facility and there are horses, cows, sheep, goats, and more all around. Most lakeside camps have their own small dock. Just gorgeous. The clubhouse/shower facility is a converted house with one bathroom. It's a nice place for a respite from the heat, but don't expect to have your whole family shower quickly. Overall I think the facility has some real kinks to work out, which I hope will come with time. But if you are prepared, I highly recommend this camp. We will be back!

Great place!
The campsite was perfectly located between the clubhouse and the lake in close proximity to the friendly animals that live there! Our 4yo enjoyed watching the animals, running around in the small field behind the campsite, and playing on the edge of the lake! Fred was very kind and responsive! The communication was great! He even gave us a hayride around the property - it was really cool to see all the horses!

The Bicycle Village
The place and Fred are beautiful ! For sleeping, the frequent trains right close by so it’s ridiculous to sleep there but great place to stop on your journey.
