Bella Luna
A fantastic stay!
We just got back from staying with Jen, and we are already planning on a return trip! Her property is gorgeous. She maintains several campsites with a beautiful carpet of fan club moss among the trees that fill the space with green. Camp sites are set back a little from the meandering path, and all looked cozy. We chose to stay in Bella Luna, which was the furthest site from the permanent main house (of note, this is also where the only outhouse on the property is). It was a bit of a trek with our gear, but 100% worth the effort. We were the only campers out there this weekend, as well, so we had all the space to ourselves, and it was so peaceful! Jen really made the trip worth it. She was so kind and accommodating. We felt welcome the second we met her. She tends to a large flock composed of a variety of animals: chickens, guinea hens, ducks, geese, rabbits, and cats all roam the property, though they mostly stay by the main house. If I remember correctly, almost all are rescues. Her garden, while currently in progress, is and will be absolutely gorgeous to take in. My kids loved looking at and learning about the animals. To top it all off, we were able to come home with a good supply of eggs! Thank you, Jen, for helping us enjoy a horridly hot and humid weekend! We look forward to seeing you all again!

We enjoyed the privacy the camp ground offered. Much better than a loud public campgroung. Hosts were friendly and helpfull. They have a goose named Gabbie that loves attention and a Turkey that enjoys its head and neck being scratched. Out house was clean. Firwood plentyfull!

Guineas Gulch
10/10, Far exceeded expectations
Jen’s camp was amazing!!! We loved all the animals, and the sites were super beautiful and extremely well thought out. She even helped us bring our gear to camp and dropped off water whenever we ran low. The land was close to lots of natural features like Marengo caves, waterfalls, and across the street was the National Forest. I definitely recommend camping here and I hope to return!

Guinea’s Gulch is a gem!
My friend and I stayed at Jen’s homestead during the eclipse weekend and we couldn’t have been happier! Jen was an incredible host, she was very helpful and thoughtful. She used her quad and a trailer to help us cart our gear to our site. We stayed at the Guinea’s Gulch site, which was private and surrounded by trees but right off the trail and conveniently close to the well constructed, clean outhouse. Jen even had jugs of water and firewood ready for us at the site. Her animals were a joy to watch, she has cats, geese, ducks, Guinea hens, and chickens! Be aware that the birds will make their typical noises, such as a the rooster crowing at 5 am. I had noise cancelling headphones so it didn’t bother me much and I enjoy that sort of ambiance anyway. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely camp there again. Thanks for the great weekend, Jen!

Great experience
Jen was absolutely amazing, she made my wife and feel like we were family. Jen also helped us find our site and helped us carry all of our things to the camp site. I would definitely recommend staying at any of her sites.
