Description

George L. Smith State Park Campground is a beautiful example of the diversity that camping in Georgia offers. You can choose between lakeside camping perched right on the water’s edge, or enjoy the natural beauty of being nestled in a cozy cottage in the woods. Hop into a kayak or canoe and explore the thick stands of cypress and tupelo trees draped with Spanish moss. The park has boats available for rental, or if you'd prefer to remain on land, seven miles of trail await those seeking a stroll littered with natural wildlife sightings. This secluded park is the perfect south Georgia retreat.

Small campground, well spaced out. Watch out for gators. Have made tons of improvements to Park over last few years.
