Close to so many interesting and fun areas to play and explore. An easy 30 Mile drive to Durango, CO.
The San Juan National Forest, and the La Plata mountains too.
Aztec Ruins Nation Monument is 5 minutes away, Chaco Canyon NM is a 1-1/2 drive. The fabulous Mesa Verde NP is about a 1-1/2 hour drive. For winter sports Purgatory is 75 minutes away, Angel Fire, Wolf Creek and numerous ski areas are within 3 hours.
If you travel with horses, there are stables on the property and a pasture for your babies. Dogs Unicorns, and Chupacabras are all welcome.Pitch or park between the main house and stables near the fire ring. Fire wood is available on site for an additional ten dollars per night. Please do not introduce fire wood from outside the area. This helps to control damaging pests.
It's okay to drain gray water on site, I only ask that any soaps, detergents used are Eco-friendly.
If you want to visit any of the local attractions, I will happily pet sit if available for a small fee.
