Pioneer Farm on Fish Lake

Canpers!  We are about out of misquito season.  hooray  This lakefront farm is a very special spiritual location.   Listen to the night life in the woods and loons on the lake.   Fall time- the acorns are falling:)

The farm animals are gone now, but there remains a huge barn and outbuildings. Enjoy observing old time architecture!

Monet tight?  We are open to a refund of $20 a day for an hour for farm chores.  Chores like mending fences, cutting vegetation, collecting the harvest from the earth, etc.  Pay in full thru hipcamp, then we can arrange a task per interest and capabilities!!   We're almost seventy now -getting harder to keep things up, ya know!    need lots of oak limbs peeled off the bark:)

Furry farm dogs- Bodhi and Zora.  They are 1/2 sisters.  This is the Aussie -doodle breed.   (Australian Shepard with Papa Poodle:)

We are a working horse ranch. We have horses, micro mini Scottish highlands and Standard Highlands. Along with King Shepherds, cats, Kune kune piggies, and goats. We have ponds, eagles, lots of nature and it is an absolutely peaceful place. We have a rustic bunkhouse available and camping areas for self set up.

RadRo Farms at Hippie House

10 acre parcel with a 70’s split level house built by a former state representative. The land used to be a farm but is now mostly tall grasses and goldenrod. We have a large vegetable and berry garden and a large native flower garden. We have a chicken house and blankets of fireflies in the summer and beautiful sunsets that face the campsite. Sometimes it’s really quiet and sometimes you can hear the highway noise. 

Cooking equipment

Come mid summer enjoy a walk through the pollinator habitat and enjoy the blooms of summer. Half the farm is dedicated to space for our beloved pollinators.

The Farm at Heirloomista

The Farm used to be part of a larger, old farm until one day it was parceled off. It sat vacant for 15 years until I bought it to create a biodynamic farm. It's now it the fourth season of growing heirlooms vegetables, flowers and herbs. As a nature-lover, I designated 2 acres to pollinator habitat. Come walk the path through and discover all the critters that like to hang out in this safe haven.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent and enjoy an night on the farm. Stay up to watch the star with no light pollution. Wake up to the cranes visiting the fields in the morning. 

The pollinator field path is a highlight of the farm.

This is a working farm so you'll be able to walk the fields and see what's coming into harvest during the season.

Stone Creek Farm

Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles West of Taylors Falls. Dan and Danielle bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! They hope you enjoy their place as much as they do! Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.

It is a bit of a trek to the campsite, but Danielle and Dan thoughtfully provided some helpful carts to haul your stuff back.
