Come nurture your soul at our off-grid cabin OR our grid tied cabin with modern conveniences. Surrounded by majestic conifers, you will find yourself in a forest paradise. Make time for bird watching, star gazing and watching wildlife enjoying their natural habitat. The cabins are both situated in a very private setting opposite our main house on our 32 acre property. We are conveniently located off Hwy 95, 7 miles north of Athol, ID. Spend your days exploring nearby Farragut State Park (7 miles), Round Lake State Park (15 miles), Sandpoint (20 miles), Coeur d’Alene (30 miles), or Silverwood Theme Park (9 miles). There are multiple dining options from breakfast to dinner within 7-10 miles. We have kayaks and fishing poles available upon request as there are multiple small lakes (Kelso and Granite Lake) less than 5 miles away. We are generally available and on-site 24/7 for any issues, questions and or problems that may need solved. In the case you forget anything at all……we can find it, fix it or provide it. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Some exceptions could be accommodated for additional tent campers in the same group on a case by case basis. Set on a private lake (Avondale Lake) with use of a dock, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, paddle boards, etc. Includes 4x8 sleeping loft, twin cot bunk beds, queen aerobed, counter-height fridge, folding table and chairs, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, sink, electric heat, electricity/lights, sani-pottie toilet. Access to outdoor fire pit and deluxe gas barbecue. Abundant wildlife and beautiful lake views year-round. Located next to Avondale Golf Course (a public/private golf club). Only a five minute drive to Hayden lake, 20 minutes to downtown Coeur d'alene, and 20 minutes to Silverwood Theme Park. 3-night minimum. $150/night. The cabins are powered by 100% green energy through the hydro power facility and solar panels. The cabin has crystal clear, spring-fed water running to it with all the comforts of home! An adjacent bunk house is available next door and can sleep an additional 5 adults. The cabin and bunkhouse come with numerous amenities including: air conditioner, hot water, high-speed WiFi, LCD TVs with Blu-Ray players, wood stove, wood-fired Chofu jacuzzi and small refrigerators. The 1,600-acre ranch is gated and provides breath-taking views, trails, fishing at the trout pond, hiking, ATV riding and is only minutes from the Lake Roosevelt recreation area in the town of Hunters. You can smell the cedars and listen to the owls at night. There is a giant rock for star gazing. Small but comfortable, great for a couple. Bed is a loft. A small desk for writing / artwork. Outside kitchen area with propane stove. There is a compostable toilet a short walk from the cabin. 20 minute drive to Sandpoint. Dish Restaurant is a bit closer and has a general store. Sandpoint is a fun town with nearby recreational activities and has a great nightlife. This is a place to get away while still being close to the festivities. Many places to swim and fish nearby. The property is located a few miles from the lake.
