We have many good tent spots in the yard, in the fields, or in the woods. We also have one site for a large Class A with power and water connections in our parking lot. It's a bustling new working farm growing fruits, berries, mushrooms, veggies and herbs for our local markets. Our fully fenced private homestead is surrounded by woods and well away from the highway 5 miles outside of Port Townsend on the north east Olympic Peninsula. This listing is for one of the basic tent camping spots. This is a working farm with a lot of moving parts, critters and kids; dogs bark, roosters crow, kids laugh and yell, farm work is BUSY, some days its just plain frantic. Go on a fishing trip in many great rivers and lakes and salt water in the sound. A million frogs croak at spring and summer! Black bears won't bother you, if you see one. They're shy, leave them be. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Forty feet from our home separate room with fridge, microwave and bathroom with cotton towels, individual hotel hand soap with shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts. Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field. Blueberry Farm across the street. Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw. We have a 3 or 8 person tent for rent, a double cot or air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices.

A remote island, naturist beach and kayak at the creek. Parking is limited. Guests love it here: "We stayed two nights at Curley Creek Canyon and loved the experience! Jerrett was a wonderful host and met us upon arrival with great recommendations of places to explore on his beautiful property. The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. Thanks, Jerrett for the experience and look forward to our next visit!"

You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Forest camping on a huckleberry farm with a salmon stream. 10 acres of permaculture and mycology includes 5 granite fire pits and loop trails with dispersed tent sites. A remote island, naturist beach and kayak at the creek. Parking is limited. Guests love it here: "We stayed two nights at Curley Creek Canyon and loved the experience! Jerrett was a wonderful host and met us upon arrival with great recommendations of places to explore on his beautiful property. The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. Come on out and check out the natural beauty Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman has to offer. Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman, formerly known as Camp Cushman or Lake Cushman State Park, covers over 500 acres with three boat-launch ramps on the 41,500 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Cushman. Park facilities include campsites, RV pull-thru and back-in sites, walk-in campsites, and two group camping areas. Plus, two fantastic day-use areas with picnic sites, a picnic shelter, and comfort stations located throughout the park. The natural beauty of the area can be explored on any of our trails. The eastern part of the Olympic Peninsula has loads of great trails around us in the Olympic National Park. Trailheads nearby include Big Creek, Mount Rose, Mount Ellinor, Dry Creek, Copper Creek, Wagonwheel Lake, Staircase Rapids, Big Log Camp, and Flapjack Lakes. Mount Ellinor Trail is rated 5 stars by many.
