Welcome to Crescent Beach & RV! We are a privately-owned and operated campground and RV park located in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula, just west of Port Angeles. With a wide range of accommodations, such as full and partial hook-up RV sites, tent sites, and rental cabins - our park is the perfect destination for those looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. In addition to stunning views and access to our 1/2 mile sandy beach, we offer a variety of amenities, including a volleyball court, horse-shoe pits, camp store, quarter-operated laundry facilities, and quarter-operated hot showers. No need to limit stays to the summer, we are open year-round for overnight stays as well as day-use.

Popular activities include walking on the beach, flying kites, building sandcastles, surfing and paddleboarding, birdwatching, playing with seaweed, checking out the tide pools at Tongue Point Marine Life Sanctuary, and hiking Striped Peak - to name a few. Our proximity to Olympic National Park and other local attractions make us a great base for exploring the nearby areas.

site 12 is a drive up site and holds a 10 by 10 tent and is good for camper vans. 

Dawleys SolDuc River Campground

Our private Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula.

We are a Campground, we are not a Hip Camp, we just advertise through them.
We have 21 tent sites on the West side of Pavel Road close to the river. 13 are river view sites. These are on Hip Camp, we have more tent sites and RV sites on the East side of Pavel Road that aren't on Hip Camp, Call us from our website dawleysrivercamping.com for details and availability.

We have beautiful woods with trees, ferns, moss, and the Sol Duc River runs adjacent to our property. Beautiful views of the Sol Duc River from some of the sites and a short walk to the right of the parking lot to the Fish Hatchery, stay to the right there will be a boat launch and beach to fish and play.

Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca.

Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US!

We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21.

The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing.

The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play. 

Activities nearby include:

Pacific Ocean beaches, Pleasant Lake, Crescent Lake, Beaver Lake, Snyder Lookout for stargazing, Olympic Discovery Trail, kayak floating, the area is great for hiking, biking, mushroom and fossil hunting, wildlife viewing, ATV trails, and much, much more, come have some fun.

Ozette Cozy Cabin

Welcome to Abigail’s Beach. Enjoy our cozy cabin surrounded by what we believe to be the most beautiful setting on the Peninsula. The rocky shore of the big river creates a serene space for picnics and play, take a nature walk to enjoy the wild plants that encompass the Ozette scenery.  Neah Bay is a 23 mile drive offering the Cape Flattery trail and Pacific Ocean fishing, while Sekiu and Clallam Bay are 20 minutes away.  The world renowned Ozette beach trail and Ozette lake are just minutes down the road.  Stay the night, live for a lifetime, honor this beautiful land we all love.

Coming back to the cabin at sunset, about fifteen minutes down the road. A dozen bald eagles were just hanging out on the beach.

Hidden Meadow

Enjoy the peace and privacy of your very own off-grid campground. Comfortably camp in a trimmed meadow on 2 acres nestled in the trees near the Sol Duc River and Lake Pleasant. Perfect hub if you’re planning adventures to the Pacific Coast or Hoh Rainforest. Fishermen, hunters, and surfers may find this a good base camp. No electricity or running water. EXCELLENT cell coverage at the property (bring a hotspot if so inclined).

Leave no trace.

The Meadow:
“Leave no trace” like you would any other campsite- including organic materials. This is a very serene piece of land. We are set back from the highway and surrounded by forest on all sides. There are NO neighbors.

The whole property is yours (2 acres). There is no power or water however there are several amenities to make off-grid living easier including a port-o-potty and giant firepits. Plenty of space to spread out and play yard games, pitch tents, and relax—or prepare for your next day’s adventure. 

Lots of flat area to put a RV if you’re looking for a peaceful and safe place to park (no hookups, no power, no water). 

There is a non-insulated shed on the property to put your belongings to keep them dry while you are out exploring.

Do NOT wander into the woods, you WILL get lost. There are wild animal all around you.

Nearby: 
The well-stocked and friendly Beaver Grocery (1 mile) features delicious sandwiches (and home-made biscuits-n-gravy for the early riser). Beaver also has a public laundromat. Nearby Forks (9 miles) has an excellent Thriftway grocery store, 2 hardware/outdoor stores, restaurants, library, car parts, and a bowling alley. 

This is a great hub location if you’re planning on adventuring the West End. Most popular attractions are less than an hour away including Pacific Ocean, lakes, rivers, hot springs, trailheads, tribal museums, fish hatcheries.

Bring firewood and plenty of water.
