This property has been our residence for over 18 years. We have trained many horses and herding dogs on this property. Conducted training clinics and lots of lessons here! Over the years we have also raised horses, sheep and goats and even show cattle here. As life long ranchers we have often used this property to rotate livestock to and from our larger properties. Gardening now takes much of our time and we love to make much of what we consume or need. We are also avid fisherman and enjoy hunting and various crafts. We look forward to hosting you!

Whether you are seeking to escape the city hustle and bustle, or want a small taste of the homestead life, this is a great place to be! We are located about 35 minutes from San Antonio, 25 minutes from Boerne and 15 minutes from the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera, TX! We do have a visible neighboring property. My great grandfather built the original "Camp Waltonia" as a primitive fishing camp with only camp sites, a dining hall and bath house. He wanted to share his love of the outdoors. Over the years, cabins were added, and the dining hall became the main house/office. Some cabins are original 1920s and 1930s, others were built in the 1990s. We have one brand new cabin that was completed June 2023. Most cabins have HVAC, BBQ grill, picnic table and screened-in front porch with porch swing and dining table.
