Pennyless Farm is a functioning horse training facility in Wagener, SC - Aiken County. www.pennylessfarmsc.com - The farm is just under 20 acres, and is home to 7 lovely rescue dogs, 20 +/- horses and 2 donkeys Ralph & Waffles. There are a few residences on the property, including an airstream and a tiny house. There are several state parks nearby.

Our land is family land that has been untouched for years but we are restoring back to a farm and horse rescue. There is an old cemetery here, creeks, hills and valleys. It's beautiful. Wildlife can be seen in the woods. The highway used to run through the woods many years ago but got moved.

We have 38 acres with hills and valleys. There is an old dirt and gravel road lined with trees, a natural spring that usually has water, large rocks, a very old cemetery, wildlife, and beautiful wildflowers and blackberries depending on the time of the year. Our house and land have been in my family over 100 years. Lots of history! Come out and visit and enjoy nature! Deer and turkey are active now too! We have grills for you to use, a picnic table, swings and fire pits.

Edisto River Retreat

Ian's background is in art, public education, and exploring the outdoors. Growing up in the Lowcountry of South Carolina allowed for endless opportunities to explore and foster an appreciation for the outdoors. It is the peace and tranquility of the wetlands, and the time spent with family and friends in these unique ecosystems, that always brought me comfort and wonder. It was in June of 2019 that dreams of having my name attached to land became a reality. Since the contract was signed; family, friends, and I have been developing the property and programming classes and adventures to share with those who seek them. We have developed several unique sites to share with you and will continue to improve as we foster our partnership with the land and share its bounty. 

Southeast Outdoor Adventure Ctr

Property is well maintained and spacious, rv camping area is flat land for easy maneuvering, roads are wide with easy turns and pull through so no stress backing up. If you like biking or running/walking soac has some awesome trails. There are several small ponds to relax near and watch the sun set. Bathrooms/showers/picnic tables /fire rings/water hook ups/no rv power/dump station available ($10 dumps, guest only). If you need privacy and relaxation and want to unplug from the world, this is the place!

By design, we never camp many guests at any one time, we feel if you wanted to camp close to someone you could camp in your back yard at home, here you have space and privacy.
