A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is
due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats.
We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like.
Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle.
We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

We are a 36 acre working Florida Farm Winery and certified Agri-Tourism Farm and Nursery, as well as a well-known live music entertainment venue. The weekends can be busy, especially in season with our more popular events. If live music and other campers here are not a fit for you, we recommend visiting us on a weekday or off-season. But please know the camp sites are far from music stage, pavilion, and festival area, and the music is usually ONLY during the afternoons and over by 4pm, so the evenings are quiet. Many of our customers come back several times a year for our weekend entertainment.
After requests from our campers over the years, we do now offer upgraded power/water sites for a nightly fee.
Since we are a working farm property, there may be farm activity early some mornings, usually weekdays. We want you to know all this when deciding if we are a good fit for you to visit.

Our three back-in camper sites are located behind our home under the shade of coconut and mango trees or by our barn, with a separate driveway and turnaround large enough for even the biggest fifth wheel trailers. The 50 amp RV outlets and city water hookups are at each site for convenience, with 30 amp adaptors available if needed. Gray water can be emptied on site, black water must be pumped (contact info for local service providers available). We live on a quiet street with a large park directly across the street featuring walking trails, equestrian trails, sports fields, and playground equipment, and only 5 minutes from numerous grocery stores, restaurants and other conveniences. 5 minutes from Wellington, Lion Country Safari, and Royal Palm Beach. 25 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from Lake Okeechobee, less than 1 hour to Fort Lauderdale and 1 hr 15 min to Miami. Our beloved 2-acre plot is naturally-forested with towering eastern slash pines, cabbage palms, saw palmettos, beauty berry, firebush, and other native flora.
Each camp site is uniquely situated within its own private zone with plenty of space to set up tents, chairs, or tables. Natural seating abounds in the way of cut logs and stumps. We are not currently offering picnic tables - so sorry!
Year-round residents include pileated & red-bellied woodpeckers, armadillos, opossums, black vultures, raccoons, cattle egrets, snowy egrets, ibis, bluejays, boat-tailed grackles, crows, green & brown anoles, mourning doves, gray squirrels, southern flying squirrels, burrowing owls, box turtles, southern black racers, red rat snakes, king snakes, coral snakes, hawks, toads, tree frogs, and more. We're also blessed by visitations from seasonal birds such as cardinals, kestrels, swallow-tail kites, orioles, buntings, and warblers.
Bring your outdoor gear for biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, or beach-going! From our location, you can explore the neighborhood on foot or bicycle, with sidewalks directly abutting the property. Canals in the area are open to fishing (just don't enter private property!).

Jonathan Dickinson State Park - known for it's expansive scrub, excellent mountain bike trails, and the highest natural point SE of Lake Okeechobee
