The property is made up of Piñon and Juniper Trees along with sage brush. There is incredible views from camping area . The Natives say this was an ancient hunting grounds and I can see why There is tons of wildlife around. It’s very quiet and peaceful out except when the coyotes are howling at night lol. The forest entrance is just down the rd and on the nw side of me is all public land although the only thing you will see on it is a few cows and wildlife. The sunsets are amazing. Follow us on IG @grandcanyonfarms Learn more about this land: We are approx 22 miles from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.. We have great Views of the San Francisco PeakS and Red Butte. This is located right in the middle of unit 9 if you’re a hunter. Our closest neighbor is about Mile away. We have a 1 mile hiking trail. There is plenty of wildlife around Deer Elk and many more . You can access the forest just down the rd from us. This is a true off grid experience we have lived out here for 7 years now and just love it. We can provide you with firewood for your camp spots when u arrive you will have enough wood for the night if you stay longer let us know and we can get you some more. There is a lot of Native American History in the area and have found many arrowheads. There is very little traffic once you go past first two miles so it’s nice and quiet out here. We look forward to meeting you and thank you for considering. There is a few rough spots so just take it slow.

Site 2 - Grand Canyon Unplugged
Awesome spot with great views close to the Grand Canyon. Road in is very rough for 4 miles in. Host was very friendly and responsive and provided detailed directions.

A Grand ol time
The property was lovely. One of the nicest nights of our trip. The camp spot was well maintained with some cover from the sun and wind (but the weather was nice enough that we didn’t need it) as well as a picnic table. Getting out to the property was definitely bumpy, but we made it out just fine in a Toyota Camry. I didn’t get a chance to meet the host, but he did stay in contact via the app. Would definitely camp here again. Thanks Christian! -Baron and Aidan

We loved drycamping with the view of the snow-capped mountains and being able to pop down to the Grand Canyon - or enjoy a few days at "home"!

Site 2 - Grand Canyon Unplugged
We stayed here because we went to the GC and didn’t want to book a hotel. We drove a mini van down the dirt road and we did fine, but it was dry at the time. My kids were able to run around without running into anyone else.

Grand Canyon unplugged Red Butte
It was nice to have a quiet campsite away from the crowds, but still have close proximity to the Grand Canyon! Our site had plenty of trees to shelter us from the wind and sun, with a nice picnic table and fire-pit. Christian was so sweet and checked on us a couple of times, and provided us with a stack of wood foraged within the area. The pit toilet has a seat on it, with lighting, toilet paper and wet wipes provided. The drive to the site is a rather bumpy one - about 4 miles of unpaved road that only gets graded a couple times of year, so 4-wheel drive is a must!

Site 1 - Grand Canyon Unplugged
Even though we only got to stay 1 night out of our booked two, the stay was wonderful. It is about as secluded as it gets, in the best way possible. Each site has what you need for RV camping or tent camping. Christian was a great host, super communicative and very helpful. The only caveat I would add is that the road to get there is definitely rough. Christian mentions that in the listing, but I think it is a bit understated. Especially if you are in an RV. Car/SUV would've been rough but doable. RV felt borderline dangerous at times. Other than that, it's a perfect spot to kick your feet up under the stars and camp the night away after a day at the canyon.
