The bunkhouse is charming, simple, and well cared for. Hank was very accomodating, a great host. His property is tucked away in a picturesque little canyon with steep hills and colorful rock faces.
An idyllic black hills getaway !
An Idyllic camping/Glamping getaway in the Black Hills of Wyoming. Hank’s Pridgeon is nestled amidst a valley overlooking the black hill mountains. The site is just a few miles from the I-90 and offers a lot of privacy. The place is teeming with beauty with ducks, chickens, horses all running around. The cabin itself was very comfortable. Hank was an extremely gracious host, who made us feel extremely comfortable.
The highlights though are the views and the beautiful campfire spots !
Hank knew I was a camper looking for a warm night. He had the heater running for me so the cabin was super cozy on my arrival. I woke up to the most beautiful covering of snow and probably saw over 30 dear on my drive in and out. It is a wonderful place you can tell Hank puts a lot of love and care into this space. The warm shower was fabulous! The ducks were a pleasant surprise too. Also the directions were really easy. I had no trouble finding the place. Just drive slow and look for wildlife.
