Located in the least populated county of the least populated state in the Nation, our ranch is near the headwaters of the Niobrara River. Located at the very edge of the local community, yet very private. Our family raises commercial cattle and horses, and whatever else one of us drags home. Another property is available from time to time in the heart of the Rawhide Buttes.

    Niobrara River Area
    We had a great stay on U Up U Down Ranch at the Niobrara River area. The ranch itself is home to horses, pigs, and cattle - all that you can visit and pet. The horses were so sweet and loved being fed. The ranch offers plenty of space to spread out and set up camp, including room for campers and RVs. In addition to experiencing the ranch, Lusk's Main Street is close by and offers a few eateries and shops. Custer State Park is about an hour and half drive from the ranch. The hosts are wonderful! They have a ton of knowledge and suggestions of things to do in the surrounding area.
