Beautiful spot! We enjoyed it, and the space. Our dogs really enjoyed the freedom they had off-leash. We were the only ones there most of the time. Cons: No Electricity, rough road, and no cell service

I wanted to camp here because of the remoteness and that's what we got. That was fantastic. The location is great. Finding the spot was a chore though. We drove the gravel county road end to end twice. A fence post with a colored streamer would help immensely.

Very remote (10 miles or so of dirt/gravel road to reach the turn off point where Alf met us to guide us in) and plenty of room and tranquility. The fire ban was a bummer as it was VERY dry. The Jack n Jill outhouse was unique - best to use when cold enough to discourage the flies (we were there in late Sept) and there were a couple of rolls of TP and wipes available. Plenty of land to seek out a site (we stayed right near the main site) and nobody else was there during our one night stay. Cell coverage is virtually non-existent - we were able to get a bar (AT&T) by walking 100 yards or so to a ridge nearby. That allowed only texting which was intermittent as well.
