Description

In the summer you’ll find wildflowers spilling down the meadow in front of the Little Brooklyn Guard Station to the edge of serene Little Brooklyn Lake. In winter, this same meadow is blanketed in pristine snow– powder perfect for snowmobile enthusiasts, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Little Brooklyn Guard Station is a unique year-round lodging experience for guests seeking recreation and relaxation in southeastern Wyoming. There is ample hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and hunting in designated areas nearby. Built in 1931 to house Forest Service employees, this rustic retreat offers wildlife sighting opportunities, fishing in surrounding alpine lakes, and a vast hiking trail system that accesses the highest elevations of the Snowy Range.
