Located inside the park a mere three miles south of Jenny Lake and four miles north of the Park Headquarters in Moose, WY, it provides perfect access to adventures in the Tetons. The purpose of the Climbers' Ranch is to provide both climbers and non climbers with overnight accommodations without the congestion and time limitations of public campgrounds. This reservation is for TWO PEOPLE ONLY in a co-ed dormitory-style rustic cabin. Guests are housed in open, one room cabins with other guests, sleeping on wooden bunks wide enough to accommodate one sleeping bag and gear.

This place saved us!

Our original plans fell through and it ain't easy to find a place to stay around Jackson at 7 pm on a Saturday. A cold snap had also hit, so we were craving warm showers. Fortunately, we had enough 3G to reserve our spots at The Spot!

Still 20 minutes away, we hustled to get there before the office closed at 8 pm. The fiery sunset illuminated the Tetons in front of us as we passed herds of Pronghorn and Elk, plus a moose.

The staff was cheerful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The amenities were great: a covered communal cooking area with tables and bear boxes, modern bathrooms with (hot!) showers, plus an awesome 24-hour climbing library. Supreme stargazing + magnificent morning mountain views!
