Beautiful lake views to the west with breathtaking sunsets and Loon calls while watching eagles soar. Many outdoor activities the heart desires at this hidden Gem. A short walk down Horne rd offers amazing southern views of Barber Lake and a nice full mile walk down and back Fenders rd offers beautiful views of the lake. Fishing is consistent during early morning and late evening sundown. The 1k sq ft site is on a wooded lot that overlooks the north end of Barber lake. You are lakeside next to the trailhead which takes you to the shoreline area. A short walk on the trailhead down the hill to your lakeside tent area offers privacy but you will see other campers. Very quiet Lake. Neighbors are only weekend warriors. The Kayaks, boat and paddle boat can be used on Barber Lake only. ***DUE TO BEARS*** BURN ALL PAPER GARBAGE And PACK IN PACK OUT GARBAGE. Be responsible with your fires and extinguish completely. Please be respectful of the land and HAVE FUN! I did crash my pontoon unfortunately, I had to wench it out of the water and will have this fixed and moved as soon as possible from the shoreline. Parking for site 1 is off Horne rd pull into the driveway on the left, you’ll see a green portable bathroom, you can pull in on the far right you’ll see a spot next to the thicket. Pictures show. Also this is the camp site used for both site/land bookings, some pictures aren’t consistent with your actual TENT camping area lakeside.

Recharging, serene lake retreat
This was an awesome site for our family of 6 to get off the grid for a week. We pulled in a 35 foot Class A RV and the hook-up for both water and electric was easy as pie with plenty of space to spread out and chillax. The port-a-potty was sparkling clean and the site was as private as advertised. Having access to the water toys (2 kayaks with super nice life jackets provided, none of those orange eye sores and a paddle john boat) was awesome on this super quiet lake. We kayaked the whole length of it more than once a day and then headed up to campsite for smores, grilling and lounging in the screen tent also provided by the host!
Timothy was super responsive and promptly got back to us with any questions (like good fishing spots!) we had. Will definitely be back.
