We're surrounded by wonderful rustic and gravel roads to ride. We have private hiking trails available, and we're located 1/2 mile from Silver Creek Trails, mountain biking/hiking trail system. We're the trail managers//builders of these super fun trails.

*Mountain biking and hiking: Silver Creek Trails is only 1/2 mile from the farm. This is a 1200 acre public trail system and is part of CORBA (Chippewa Off Road Bike Association) trail systems. These trails are in a beautiful, quiet forest with bountiful wildlife. Don’t expect a city bike path here. Adventure abounds!  There's something for all levels of riders: access roads for the beginners and single track for advance beginners/intermediate & advanced riders.  Dogs are welcome off leash on the trails and it's a great place to hike.

*On our farm, we grow and harvest plants to handcraft into medicinal oils & balms, and teas & tinctures. Your host, Community Herbalist Lisa Kofakis, offers herbal consultations through our onsite & online herbal Apothecary.  We offer plant identification walks and workshops to our HipCampers and our local community. We have a small retail area in the Apothecary where you can purchase drinks, snacks, some camping necessities and of course, our handcrafted products.

*Silver Creek Springs is also home to The Creeky Wheel, our full service bicycle repair shop, specializing in custom wheel & bike builds by your other host, Tony Kofakis. Tony is the Trail Manager and builder of Silver Creek Trails.  Tony offers guided mountain bike rides to our HipCampers and our local community.

*We have a prolific vegetable garden for you to enjoy, along with many native Wisconsin plants throughout our property.  Every year we plant more medicinal plants all over the farm. We have free range chickens & turkeys and three friendly farm dogs.

*We're within 10-15 miles of a few small towns with restaurants and grocery stores and there's plenty of lakes and rivers to explore in your kayak, canoe or paddle board.

We'll provide you with information on area attractions and your  first bundle of campfire wood, with more available for purchase.  You'll have access to an outdoor shower and hot and cold potable water. Your site has it's own outhouse and firepit. We have wifi available close to the farmhouse and bike shop/apothecary building.   We offer as extras: additional campfire wood bundles, plant identification walks, guided mountain bike rides, herbal workshops and farm fresh eggs.

Diversity is celebrated here and we welcome all campers. As hosts, we're here to make your camping experience enjoyable. Come on out to Silver Creek Springs and discover rural Wisconsin!

Barely over an hour from the Twin Cities, Silver Creek Springs' Bicycle Retreat is a must visit spot and we will be back ASAP. We loaded up and headed to Silver Creek, the first stop on an epic road trip and were happy for the short drive to start us out. The directions were perfect and we arrived without any trouble. We were greeted at the on-site bicycle shop and treated a tour of the property. As soon the car stopped the kids jumped out and started exploring. There is certainly no shortage of nooks to explore.

There are three campsites and we nabbed a spot right next to the property owner's home, in reach of the wifi, which was a wonderful perk for us work-on-the-road types. Along with a quick tour, we were also provided some information of the surrounding area. We were also gifted a homemade healing salve, made from ingredients grown right at Silver Creek, as well as a dozen fresh eggs from the chickens peering at us from their coop.

The afternoon was filled with exploring the nearby mowed trails in the prairie, splashing in the creek, hanging out with the resident cats and dogs, feeding the chickens, goofing off with the turkeys, and a short paddle on the edge of a nearby town. After rushing back to camp to catch the sunset from atop Casey's Hill, we enjoyed a camp fire with the provided wood and tucked ourselves in. We slept wonderfully.

The following day the kids helped out with chores in the garden and did some more exploring while I took advantage of the wifi and marveled at the most clean and comfortable compost toilet I have ever laid my eyes on.

We highly recommend a visit to the Bicycle Farm at Silver Creek Springs. The host communication, the location, the amenities, and the pleasant company will not disappoint!

waterExploring the chicken coop - a great way to start our visit. The most, dare I say, beautiful outhouse you will ever lay your eyes on.There was ample space available to pitch our tent.

This place is a true paradise! Stunning property with beautiful views, rolling hills, well groomed paths and a sparking creek. The camp spot had great trees for our hammock, plenty of shade, a nice picnic table and a fire pit. We really enjoyed biking in the forest nearby. We rented the bikes from The Creeky Wheel shop on the property. Tony made sure we were well fitted with our bikes and showed us where the best trails were. We also loved picking wild raspberries and blackberries on the farm. We had such an amazing stay at this place that we are already planning our next visit!

We spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it! Beautiful place to camp with endless options for adventure. The property has outstanding views, especially walking to the top of Casey’s hill. We enjoyed mountain biking nearby in the Barron County Forest, hanging out with all their friendly animals, and admiring the gorgeous garden and wildflowers! It was a great weekend escape.

Kate and Brent checked in on Saturday and Tony took them out on a guided mountain bike ride on our nearby Silver Creek Trails. It was a great day for a ride! Sunday morning they joined us on a short gravel ride to Lazy I Ranch for Yoga in the Barn. We had a fantastic time being hosts for this wonderful couple.

My boyfriend and I had an enjoyable stay at Silver Creek Springs. Upon arriving we were greeted by the caretaker of the property. He showed us to our camping spot, gave us a tour, firewood, and even fresh eggs! The area to pitch our tent was a generous space with a picnic table, fire ring and small stream. Exploring the property, there are mowed trails to wander, a bench on top of a hill that was perfect for watching sunsets, and the nicest outhouse you will ever see. There is also a bicycle store on site that offers rental bikes and trails. Our stay was relaxing and the property has a lot of beauty to take in. The homestead itself seems to be a working project that will offer even more in the future and we cannot wait to return to see the new additions.

We would love to have Donneisha and her boyfriend back for another stay. We had a bit of rain their first day, but the evening cleared up with a beautiful sunset. It was so nice to have a guest from our area come to visit too!

Both HipCamp and Silver Creek Springs were AWESOME!

Met college buddy haven't seen in years and we had a blast getting to know owners Tony & Lisa and all their wonderful farm animals.

The trails for biking are sweet, as well as the bike shops awesome fat tire bikes to rent.

Can't say enough good things about the experience.
Character in waves in this place.

Have been bragging to anyone who will listen about HipCamp and Silver Creek Springs!

The Bicycle Farm at Silver Creek was just right for us and worth going out of our way to stay in this beautiful spot! The host Tony was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely with mowed trails, a garden, and lots of trees. The pull-in site is next to the host's house abut private enough with trees, soft grass, a nice fire pit, and picnic table. The host provided firewood, fresh eggs, and some salve made from their garden. The hosts' 3 dogs were very friendly. We had a great time and would definitely go back! Our only regret was not being able to see more of the trails as we had to hit the road. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This was my first experience using hipcamp and I was blown away with how great this campsite was! The hosts were amazing, the site was beautiful and well cared for, and the property was perfect for seeing the sunset. On top of all that the amenities were top notch. The outhouse was very clean and did not smell bad, and there is a shower you can use with hot and cold water. We brought our own bikes to ride the trails but the bikes they have for rent are high quality and a great price as well. My wife and I have already decided we will be going back at some point and we want to bring friends as well! Do yourself a favor and camp here!!

Great trails and they are constantly working to make them better! Bicycles & Botanicals-large siteWe had a good friend the entire time we were thereCampsite #1
