The farm was beautiful and our hosts were incredible. It was fun to learn about their farms operation and see all of their animals. The farm has a ton of potential and the hosts are more than accommodating to make your experience fun and memorable.
Nadia was an amazing host! Her family runs and lives on an organic farm and we were invited to set up anywhere on the property. Our host mentioned that the more advanced in booking, the better prepared and accommodating they can be to the campers! They were more than willing to mow a spot for campers and prepare for arrival. Nadia also mentioned nearby fishing and becoming friends with their sheep on the land! :)

Nadia and her family were friendly and prepared a nice, private spot for us on their farm. Firewood was available and Nadia picked some fresh veggies for us to enjoy when we were greeted. Overall pleasant stay with the goats, chickens and crickets in the pasture.
Beautiful private site, great views
Beautiful site up a little hill with goats and cows grazing nearby. Hosts mowed out a section of tall grass for our site and there was a fire ring. Hosts were very friendly, provided accurate directs to the site, and made themselves available for any of our needs. We will come again!

The hosts were nice but the land was not as expected. No fire pit...although they did offer to try and get a fire going next to their house.
There was also no real established to put up our tents unless we wanted to sleep next to the goats ib knee length grass.
The only place to set up our tents was right next to their house and chicken coops. For $60 we expected a more private setting, more established camping spot, and better kept surroundings.
Nadia was super friendly and accommodating. The site was a short walk from where we parked our vehicle and was pretty secluded. Our two-person tent fit nicely in the cleared spot with space to spare and a fire ring close by. We spent most of our time out and about, returning to the site primarily to sleep and it suited our needs well.
Nadia and her family have a beautiful farm in the driftless region. The campsite is in the meadow, overlooking the pasture. I loved it!
Nadia was a fantastic host! She was responsive, accommodating, and friendly. The site itself is a large strip of the charming farm, with plenty of options for privacy. Being dog-friendly is a huge perk, but keep in mind that they have farm animals nearby that could excite your pup. I was just passing through for the night, but I took a quick walk in the morning and the surrounding area is quiet and pleasant.

We enjoyed hosting this family and we're glad that it worked out on such short notice! They booked on Hipcamp about 30 minutes before they arrived this past Saturday, at 6:30pm, and I honestly thought we were very accommodating. We are a 100% grass fed, organic working farm - with sheep and poultry (no goats currently) - and the listing says we have "dispersed" campsites. So, when we have some notice (even just 1 day would be good) we mow areas for camping spots and create temporary fire pits throughout our farm...we feel this is closer to a "leave-no-trace" ethic. We normally have at least 2 options for campers when the arrive so they have a few choices, but we didn't have the more remote areas ready due to the very short notice. We gave directions to some great fly fishing spots just down the road where their 3 girls caught some fish and enjoyed the evening - overall, for the circumstances, I think we did a good job hosting.
